It didn’t take long for Nike to make it clear that the Zoom Vomero 5’s return was designed to make the silhouette a go-to stylish lifestyle sneaker offering for 2023. A plethora of colorways hit the net for months on end, only slowing down slightly in recent months as revealed pairs continue to finally hit shelves. Without any collaborations backing the model in the past year, save for the special Doernbecher pair, it managed to land in the Hypebeast team’s favorite sneaker list for the first half of 2023.Now, it’s gearing up for fall with a new “Sequoia” colorway that sprinkles reflective detailing across the dark green upper. Its signature shade of green coats the familiar mixed material build of mesh, suede, leather and synthetic notes with the silver reflective bits offering contrast.
