Throughout 2020, word of a “Wheat”-flavored Nike SB Dunk Low had sneakerheads eager for its release. Its staggered launch concluded in 2021, serving as the successor to the various Air Force 1 “Flax” colorways that have released annually. Now, the pair is gearing up to return in its same look from just a few years ago.Outfitted in a presentation similar to Reese Forbes’ 2002 SB Dunk Low, the “Wheat” colorway sees various golden brown hues cover the skate-ready sneaker. Its upper toggles between suedes with mesh arriving at the monochromatic tongue. Hits of chocolate brown are included at the tongue branding, embroidered heel detail and midsole while the gum bottom takes on a semi-translucent finish.At the time of writing, specifics regarding the re-release of the Nike SB Dunk Low “Wheat” have not been disclosed by the brand. First Look at the Latest New Balance x Rone Numeric Tiago Lemos 1010
Tony Ferguson, a celebrated Girls Skateboards pro and the founder of Rone Footwear has joined forces with New Balance and skater Tiago Lemos to launch a second, more limited iteration of the Numeric 1010.This latest example of the “Numeric Tiago Lemos 1010” comes as a “Friends & Family” pair, constructed with premium materials and a high bar for attention to detail. Details include a smooth leather liner throughout, a low-profile zipper tongue, an engraved deubré or shoelace tag with “Rone” branding and individual dust bags for each shoe.Other notable aspects of the shoe include New Balance’s dual-density FuelCel midsole, suede inner heel pods and of course, a stunning outer layer of Arctic Blue leather cloaked over the upper.In a comment on the pair, Ferguson said “I’ve been wearing New Balance forever, and Tiago is one of my favorite skaters, so this project is very special to me,” he added that “Tiago’s raw talent, power, and style is reminiscent of the ‘90s but with next-level pop. You can tell that he’s inspired by, and is paying homage to, that era while also pushing skating forward. Nike Dresses Its Air Force 1 Low in “Black/Indigo”
Nike has just presented the latest iteration of the Air Force 1 Low, and it has been unveiled in an all-new “Black/Indigo” colorway with reworked Nike branding on the tongue and heel tab.Following the silhouette’s creation in 1983, the Air Force 1 has been a mainstay for Nike, with the sneaker being reinterpreted in a melange of colorways and collaborations throughout the years. Highlights have seen the sneaker designed in a “Cacao Wow” color scheme, while the shoe’s biggest collaborations have welcomed the likes of Billie Eilish and Louis Vuitton.Designed with jet-black tumbled leather overlays, dark “Indigo” nubuck underlays are used to pave the way through the upper, while monochrome details take over the tongue, inner lining, and laces.
