Official Look at the Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement”

Update: After popping up last week, Nike has now revealed the Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement.” As indicated by early pairs, white leather joins black and red accents with a speckled print across the red detailing. Release remains expected for September 9 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $210 USD. For more info, be sure to peep our initial coverage below.Original Story: After linking up with Nike SB earlier this year to push out an Air Jordan 4 collaboration, Jordan Brand is poised to further along its momentum with striking inline colorways for the second half of 2023. One installment that’s dropping towards the tail end of summer is this Air Jordan 4 “Red Cement” colorway, and we’ve got a closer look at the pair thanks to newly-surfaced detailed images. This new iteration remixes the classic “White Cement” colorway by incorporating vibrant red accents in place of the traditional grey hits. The “Red Cement” Air Jordan 4 is formatted an angelic leather upper, which provides a clean and timeless base for the design. Black eyelets add a contrasting touch, while black and grey hits, including speckling, can be spotted on the midsoles. The red accents are prominently displayed on the wings panels, heel tab, and midsole, giving the shoe a striking and eye-catching look.To acquire the “Red Cement” Air Jordan 4, interested buyers can look forward to its release on September 9, 2023. The sneakers will be available for purchase through the Nike SNKRS app as well as select Jordan Brand retailers for $210 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Sneaker Knockerz (@sneakerknockerzllc)Elsewhere in sneakers, Travis Scott’s Jordan Cut the Check silhouette is expected to release later this year.

First Look at the Nike Air Max 1 G “Sea Glass”

Now that the major championship season in golf has run its course, Nike has rolled out all of its limited edition drops for the season like “Live to Play” and “Always Fresh.” Despite that, it doesn’t appear that the brand is slowing down at all if the new Air Max 1 G “Sea Glass” is any indication. For Nike, it’s yet another fresh take on the AM1 with updates for golfers, a silhouette that the label has been paying particular attention to this year ever since Air Max Day 2023 and the return of the ’86 Big Bubble. As expected, the new “Sea Glass” colorway retains its larger-than-life Air unit along with raised tractions lugs underfoot for a tighter grip on the fairways. As for the color blocking, various neutrals make up the kicks’ quarter panels, overlays, mudguards, laces and Swooshes. The midsoles, meanwhile, are treated to a speckled effect similar to Nike’s U.S. Open pack that released earlier this year. The titular “Sea Glass” then provides the highlights, landing down on the eyelets, toe caps, Nike Air logos and insoles. To cop a pair of these kicks for $160 on Nike.com, check back in later on Hypegolf for an updated release date.Elsewhere in the world of Air Max, official images of the Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico “Blue Gale” have surfaced.

Official Images of the Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico “Blue Gale”

Each year, Nike celebrates National Puerto Rican Day with a themed pair of kicks. For 2022, it outfitted the Air Force 1 Low with two tribute colorways. Pivoting to this year, it was revealed in May that the Swoosh would be revisiting the Air Max 1 through a Puerto Rican lens, following up on 2019’s release. This led to the eventual release of the “Orange Frost” pair with the “Blue Gale” version set for a later drop, which has now been revealed to be taking place this week.Offering a blue finish, the pair’s details matches the “Orange Frost” — save for the color arrangement. The mixed material upper draws inspiration from frozen treats with thematic graphics located at the tongue, sockliner and bandana accessory. Specific callouts to Puerto Rico arrive at the right heel’s red embroidery and the sneaker’s labeled dubrae. Joining the blue flavors, off-white hits appear at the toe box and collar while red accents are sprinkled around the upper. To top it all off, a special shoe box has been prepared for the release with additional graphics placed across its sides.Release for the Nike Air Max 1 Puerto Rico “Blue Gale” has been officially announced for July 27 with pairs arriving via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $140 USD.Enjoy a complete breakdown of the pair above and for more of the latest news from the always-busy footwear industry, Nike has expanded upon its Air Force 1 offerings with a newly-revealed silhouette — the Air Force 1 Wild.
