Throughout recent years, Nike has celebrated holidays such as Halloween with thematic sneaker releases. Last year, this included the Dunk Low with “Scream Green” accents joining “Phantom” detailing in a subtle-yet-recognizable take on the spooky season. In 2021, the Hypebeast team assembled a thorough list of the holiday’s best kicks, which may see a new addition with this year’s newly-previewed SB Dunk High. For Halloween 2023, Nike has prepared a “Sweet Tooth” colorway that takes on the appearance of candy corn — a treat typically associated with this frightful time of year. Its upper features a gradient effect that goes from white at the toe to orange at the midfoot and yellow around the heel. Orange Swooshes outlined with a mustard hue add to the theme alongside the toe box including a bite mark. A thematic tongue tag includes a warning that states “DO NOT TAKE CANDY FROM STRANGERS” at the interior. Rounding things out, the sockliner displays an all-over print with candy corn spread throughout. While no release details regarding the Nike SB Dunk High “Sweet Tooth” have been shared just yet, you can expect this pair to hit shelves in October via Nike and select skate shops to coincide with Halloween. Stay tuned for official information and imagery pertaining to this much-anticipated colorway.pic.twitter.com/YYGd0NhmNC— MasterChefIan (@k9_itsiant) July 3, 2023For more of the latest news regarding Nike SB’s footwear lineup this year, an early preview of a collaboration with Japanese label TIGHTBOOTH on the SB Dunk Low has surfaced.

First Look at the TIGHTBOOTH x Nike SB Dunk Low
Japanese label TIGHTBOOTH, led by professional skater Shinpei Ueno, has established itself across the world throughout recent years. To accomplish this, the brand has teamed up with various collaborators such as BLOHM. Now, it looks to continue its ascent by teaming up with Nike and the Nike SB team on an SB Dunk Low.Previewed by Ueno himself, the forthcoming release reinvents the SB Dunk Low’s upper — pairing textures and materials in a unique arrangement. First, the base utilizes a hairy suede in black. Offsetting this, off-white overlays with a scratch texture team up with a color-matching lining and laces. A reflective black Swoosh appears at the lateral, with the medial likely carrying the same style. The padded tongue sees a dotted arrangement joined by TIGHTBOOTH branding next to the typical Nike SB tongue tag. Rounding out this initial preview, an orange sockliner with TIGHTBOOTH branding matches the small lateral tag below the Swoosh. As of now, no details pertaining to the upcoming TIGHTBOOTH x Nike SB Dunk Low collaboration has been provided by either party. It is rumored to drop this holiday season via Nike and select skate shops at a price of $135 USD. View this post on Instagram A post shared by SHINPEI??
