As its name suggests, Danish label RAINS is all about the outdoors. The brand often embraces our planet’s gloomy weather and did so on its Spring/Summer 2024 runway at Paris Fashion Week. While the clothing supplied structural versions of its trademark rainwear, we kept our eyes glued below. RAINS presented new collaborative footwear with Zellerfeld for SS24, initially teased last season and available now. RAINS’ swollen outerwear inspires the Puffer Sneaker, delivering a sculptural masterpiece for your feet. The made-to-order 3D-printed shoe keeps your unique measurements in mind, allowing for custom fit, width, and comfort. RAINS and Zellerfeld’s Puffer Sneaker is made from fully-recyclable TPU materials as printing machines fill it with air to achieve an indented figure. Puffer jacket-inspired bumps are inflamed up top, while the medials boast curved markings. Finally, blended soles receive a lattice-like finish featuring grip-enhancing outsoles. Take a closer look at RAINS and Zellerfeld’s Puffer Sneaker collaboration in the gallery above. It is available to order in “Red,” “Oat,” and “Blue” colorways for $260 USD via Zellerfeld’s website.
