Stone Island Teases Its Upcoming New Balance FuelCell C_1 Collaboration

Collaborations continue to be a major focus for the New Balance lifestyle team as it has a bevy of them lined up for the latter half of 2023. In the coming months, we can expect the sportswear label to roll out projects with artist Aminé, thisisneverthat and others, and now it will be tallying up another project with Stone Island to further expand on its long-term partnership. This project will serve as the follow-up to the duo’s 574 Legacy initiative that debuted earlier this year.Few details have been announced about this collaboration, but based on the promotional posters, it looks like we could be receiving two colorways of the New Balance FuelCell C_1. The Italian luxury men’s apparel and accessories imprint previewed the kicks covered in two camouflage-patterned veils. The first is styled with a blend of olive, orange, purple and gray graphics while the latter is fitted with a mustard yellow and gray combination.Peep a first look at the collaboration in the gallery above and be on the lookout for official launch information to turn up in the coming weeks. In case you missed it, Rich Paul and New Balance have officially announced their “Forever Yours” footwear and apparel collection.

Viral Brand I Wanna Bangkok Drops Hulk and Bigfoot-Inspired Unisex Heels

Meme-able footwear is all around us: MSCHF’s Big Red Boot, AVAVAV’s monstrous footwear, and Christian Cowen’s Teletubbies Dipsy heels kicked off the trend, but now the emerging label I Wanna Bangkok might have eclipsed them all with its new Hulkfoot and Bigfoot heels. The unisex heels keep the same format across both pairs, sporting a low-slung kitten heel structure with a short 2-inch rise. From here, I Wanna Bangkok crafts chunky, surreal, vein-covered feet from leather before tinting them in green (creating the Hulk style), or in another hue reminiscent of skin. A tan lining branded up with the label’s moniker rounds the pair off.Since the shoe appeared online, it has gone on to garner viral attention — no doubt thanks to the shoe’s frankly hilarious design. For those who want a pair, you can pre-order them from I Wanna Bangkok’s website now for ฿4,900 THB (£108 GBP/$140 USD), in sizes EU 35-46. Orders will arrive in two weeks from the time the order was placed. For more unique footwear, check out these unreleased YEEZY shoes.
