Kevin Durant finally got the green light from Nike to bring back his older signature silhouettes and one model that will be returning to the frontlines this year is his KD 3. After dropping his red “All-Star” colorway earlier this year, the Swoosh’s basketball division is set to drop a brand new Nike KD 3 “Easy Money” installment that nods to his IG handle @easymoneysniper.The court-ready kicks are fitted with an assortment of cash-inspired details. Upper layers are designed with various shades of green that apply to the leather overlays and mesh builds to reference the color-blocking on an American bill. Swoosh logos appear on the lateral and medial walls, both of which are backdropped in a cool blue hue. The former deviates with tiny “100” marks that are printed in all-over fashion. KD badges on the tongues and the game controller icons on the heels are splashed with penny-esque hits and the insoles are accessorized with money patterns that feature the two-time NBA champion’s face.Hoopers looking to add these to their rotations can find these dropping via Nike and select retailers on August 9 for $130 USD.Elsewhere in the sneakers landscape, we’ve rounded up the best footwear drops of the week.
