Vans Introduces Modern Take on an Archive Classic With the Knu Slip

Vans has introduced the latest addition to its “Knu” franchise lineup, the Knu Slip — which like other pairs featured in the collection, draws inspiration from popular 90s archives and elevates them with a modern twist. The Knu Slip reimagines the fan-favorite Classic Slip-On silhouette and offers a more robust, oversized and chunky look. One of the more noticeable updates included on the Knu Slip is the pull tab at the heel, providing easy in and out-access.At the time of writing, the Vans Knu Slip is available in four different solid colorways, including “True White,” “White,” “Green and “Black,” as well as two different checkerboard colors, namely black and purple.Retail for the solid colorways is $65 USD while the checkerboard pairs are priced at $70 USD. ADER error Announces Second Converse Collaboration

To kick off the new year, South Korean label ADER error launched its first collaboration with Converse, propelling the emerging brand’s visibility as it continues to make waves in the streetwear scene. Tackling the iconic Chuck 70, the brand brought its signature design language to the pair with a deconstructed aesthetic. Running with the “Create Next: The New is not New” motto, the duo is now expanding on its initial project by introducing two new Chuck 70s.First, the Chuck 70 Hi appears with an off-white and blue color arrangement, leaning on the distressed presentation once again. The brief first look highlights scattered collaborative graphics and a worn-in finish with its erratic linework and patches. As for the duo’s first take on the Chuck 70 Low, they have again presented cut-up bits of canvas around the eyelets with the blue upper contrasted by these off-white hits. The sole unit utilizes a beige hue alongside blue linework while splashes of paint and wear give the sneaker a distinctly-aged appearance.Release for the second ADER error x Converse Chuck 70 collaboration begins on July 27 via the ADER error website. Following this, Converse is scheduled to release the pair via its channels on August 1. View this post on Instagram A post shared by A D E R (@ader_error)For more of the latest news from the footwear industry, be sure to check out Sanrio’s latest project with Converse — reworking the All Star into four character-themed looks.

“Pink Blast” Animates the Air Jordan 1 Low

Unlike its high-top counterpart, the Air Jordan 1 Low continues to enjoy a wide variety of looks that are releasing each month. Jordan Brand continues to leverage the silhouette by covering it in countless color combinations, operating in parallel to Nike and its usage of the Dunk Low. Adding to its momentum, “Pink Blast” is the latest colorway to coat the sneaker, offering a look that is one part Barbie-core and another part Valentine’s Day-themed.Combining the aforementioned pink with “Chile Red,” the pair goes back and forth between its overlays and base. “Pink Blast” arrives at the satin underlays and laces while red leather constructs the mudguard, collar, heel and Swooshes. The Jumpman logo appears in a red-on-pink ensemble at the tongue while the Wings logo at the heel flips the color combo. Supporting the sneaker, an off-white stitched midsole is backed by a red rubber outsole. No release details pertaining to the Air Jordan 1 Low “Pink Blast” have been disclosed by Nike. Hang tight as we expect the pair to land on shelves in the coming months via both the Swoosh and select retailers worldwide at a price of $125 USD.Looking for more of the latest and greatest from the world of footwear?
