“Crystal Mint” Accents This Women’s Exclusive Air Jordan 2

Hot off of an action-packed 2022, the Air Jordan 2 has found itself playing a bigger role in the conversation thanks to Jordan Brand’s favorable treatment of the silhouette throughout recent years. However, its low-top form has seemingly been the focus throughout this era. Recently, the AJ2 Low took on two different white and blue colorways — “UNC” and “Varsity Royal.” Now, the Jumpman team has revisited its original high-top form with a different flavor of blue: “Crystal Mint.”Serving as the key accent to this colorway, the minty fresh hue simply adorns the shoe’s signature linework, its eyestays and lining. In addition to this, its bluish-green mixes with a bronze finish at the marbled Wings logo found at the tongue. Elsewhere, white leather supplies the upper’s base while “Wolf Grey” has been splashed onto the heel and a majority of the rubber outsole. “Sail” outfits the midsole while the aforementioned bronze returns at the heel’s “NIKE” embroidery. For those interested in picking up the Air Jordan 2 “Crystal Mint,” it’s scheduled to launch in women’s sizes on August 1 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers worldwide at a price of $175 USD.In other exciting news from the footwear industry, Jayson Tatum and Jordan Brand have dug into the Air Jordan line’s archive, unearthing the AJ4’s “Pure Money” colorway to outfit the Jordan Tatum 1.

Does Fall Out Boy Have an adidas Collab on the Way?

Hot off the heels of announcing a Stan Smith colorway that pays homage to Homer Simpson, adidas is thrusting itself back into the sneaker spotlight thanks to an unexpected source: Fall Out Boy. The nostalgic boy band took to Instagram to show off a lifestyle model that has been adorned with its moniker that hints at a potential collaboration. It’s unclear what silhouette is pictured here, but the perforated side stripes, leather heel overlays and smooth toe boxes are reminiscent of the classic Stan Smith. The midsoles are bereft of any exposed stitches and adidas labels and instead appear with a bumpy layer that wraps around the front. A majority of the real estate here is designed with bright white finishes while solid blue accents poke out through the Three Stripes branding and the aforementioned rear overlays. Call-outs to the “Sugar We’re Goin Down” crooners are present via the band’s moniker that is printed on the collars as well as its FOB crown insignia that appears on the rear. The emblem references Fall Out Boy’s song “Young Volcanoes” and serves as a tribute to the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.Sit tight for further confirmation on if these will release to the masses.Elsewhere in sneakers, James Harden’s adidas Harden Vol. 7 “Pulse Olive” has been unveiled.
