Balenciaga broke the Internet with the unveiling of its heavily-distressed Paris Sneaker, and now the pair is back with a grunge twist.Taking both its high top and mule Paris Sneaker styles, the Demna-helmed house uses black canvas that’s distressed all over, sporting cuts, fringes, fraying, and scratches across the uppers. To take the pair to the next level, Balenciaga then pierces the sneaker in a haphazard manner, using nipple bars and circular septum hooks decorated with either spike or ball attachments.Elsewhere, we find scratched-out rubber toe boxes, Balenciaga branding on the toe bumper and on the gum-toned outsole, EU size embossing on the rear, an eight-eyelet and five-eyelet lacing system on the highs and lows, respectively, and branded insoles. Both pairs are available from Balenciaga’s regional China Mainland website now, retailing for approximately $1,100 USD to $1,265 USD.In other news, Nike has decked its Cortez in “Fir” green.

Official Images of the adidas YEEZY QNTM “Orange”
It feels like ages ago since Ye and his adidas crew were shutting down the streets of Chicago during NBA All-Star Weekend 2020 handing out free pairs of the inaugural colorway of the YEEZY QNTM. Over time, the silhouette and its basketball counterpart have gradually lost their appeal, but it’s ready to try and regain its momentum this year by dropping in colorways. And this vibrant orange installment is the latest to be officially revealed by the Three Stripes. For this design, Ye skews to the more playful side of the color wheel calls a traffic cone-esque orange to do most of the heavy lifting. It covers the tongues, collars, side panels, laces and toe tip overlays, the latter of which are styled with a more fluorescent hue. The silhouette’s wavy side streaks are translucent but become paired with curvy black patterns in the background for extra contrast. Save for the orange filling that covers the heel area, the midsoles are treated with a see-through build. No official release information has been announced yet, but expect adidas and select retailers to launch these sometime within the upcoming months. For other news, adidas has prepared the YEEZY SLIDE in similar “Granite” and “Slate Grey” colorways.
