Thanks to the city-exclusive releases that Corteiz has been executing with Nike in recent memory in London, New York and Paris, the Air Max 95 has been gaining a substantial amount of momentum in recent memory. And while excitement over the silhouette continues to pick up, the Swoosh team is looking to supplement this wave with more inline colorways like this Nike Air Max 95 with jeweled Swooshes. For this installment, the Nike designers leaned on a grayscale color scheme to dress it up from top to bottom. With the way that the wavy suede side panels are formed with a gradient collection of gray and white hues, they evoke memories of one of the colorways that were included in the COMME des GARÇONS x Nike Air Max 95 capsule that released in 2020. The aforementioned jeweled Swooshes are situated near the lateral heel and come designed with white filling. Down below, the midsoles are doused with a black coating and house visible white Air units.Sift through the pair’s official images gallery above and expect Nike and select retailers to launch these in the coming months for $175 USD.For other news, detailed images of the Nike Dunk High “Palomino” colorway have surfaced on our radar.

The Nike Tiger Woods ’13 Surfaces in Black
The first ever Tiger Woods retro golf shoe, the Nike TW ’13, first resurfaced last February in the classic white colorway to the surprise of many. One of those surprises being the steep $240 USD price tag. But nevertheless the kicks made a splash, with many considering the OG version among the best golf shoes ever made.Arriving 10 years on from its initial debut, the shoes were one of those rare occasions where a player exclusive found its way to retail. At the time, Woods was seeking a golf sneaker that mimicked the feeling and performance of the Nike Free runners he trained with. And after months of research, the Tobie Hatfield and the Nike product team came up with a solution.Using a Free sole that provides more contact with the ground through its many flexion points, Nike builds atop that base with a flexible synthetic upper. Meanwhile, a Dynamic Fit system with nylon straps adds stability and six well placed Softspikes grip the fairway.Of course a Tiger Woods shoe wouldn’t be complete without his signature logo which hits the tongues, insoles and heels in the classic Sunday red. Coming in at the aforementioned retail price of $240 USD, the purchase also includes a special shoe bag.Although no release date is listed, keep an eye on Hypegolf IG for updates.Elsewhere in golf, Students Golf unveiled the final delivery from its SS23 collection ‘Undulations.’
Nike Air Max 90 “Icons” Nods to the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet”
Since the Nike catalog is replete with a plethora of classic colorways, it’s not uncommon to see the brand’s designers use them as muses to inspire its newer offerings. This is exactly the case for the Nike Air Max 90 “Icons” which overtly draws inspiration from the Air Max 97 “Silver Bullet.”Official imagery of the pair has been revealed by the Swoosh, so we’re able to capture all of its throwback details. In a similar fashion to the 97s, this makeup is suited up with “Metallic Silver” overlays and “University Red” accents, the latter of which drops off on the Swooshes, Nike branding on the tongues and heels as well as the outsoles. Notes of solid black also show face here and spill onto the interior liners, mid-foot windows, eyelets and rear molds. If you peek inside the shoes, you’ll notice that the insole branding has been reworked with Nike “Icons” branding to reflect its retro-inspired moniker. At the time of writing, there isn’t any info related to when these will be hitting the shelves, but you can expect Nike and other retailers to likely release them in the coming months for $130 USD.Looking for other news?
