The Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” Returns This May

Last August, lightning flashed before our eyes as one of the Air Jordan 4’s most popular colorways was rumored to be returning in 2023. Now, thunder has struck with an official reveal of the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” in its third iteration. The sneaker originally released in 2006 and was given the retro treatment in 2012. In addition to this, 2021 saw the release of a “Red Thunder” version that ditched the typical “Tour Yellow” for a bright red while a reissue of the “Lightning” colorway from 2006 also hit shelves. In its refreshed presentation, this “Thunder” pair stays true to its roots with a nubuck upper dressed in all-black with electric hits of yellow throughout. White also makes an appearance at the Jumpman logos found on the tongue and heel while a yellow midsole rests atop a black rubber outsole to complete the look. While Nike has yet to formally announce its release date, the latest rendition of the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” is expected to land on shelves May 13 via Nike and select Jordan Brand retailers at a price of $210 USD.Enjoy an official look at the sneaker above and for more of the latest in the world of footwear, the Harrington Family Foundation has announced a charity raffle of two incredibly rare Air Jordans designed by Tinker Hatfield.

In terms of its palette, the kicks are fashioned with its throwback “Sport Red” motif.
