Supreme x Nike Air Bakin Spring 2023 Collaboration

Following the release of its inaugural Spring/Summer 2023 collection, Supreme is now gearing up to deliver its Nike Air Bakin. Kicking off the New York imprint’s major collaboration series for the season, the upcoming footwear release serves to continue the longstanding collaborative relationship between Supreme and Nike. For Spring 2023, Supreme has worked with the sportswear giant to reimagine the Air Bakin.Debuting back in 1997 and famously worn by Tim Hardaway during his time with the Miami Heat, the Air Bakin is a prime example of the bright and bold visual sensibility of Nike Basketball in the late ’90s and early 2000s.Made exclusively for Supreme, the Supreme x Nike Air Bakin will be offered in two colorways – “Black/Speed Red/Multi-Color” and “White/Amarillo.” The shoe features synthetic pebbled leather uppers paired with nubuck mudguards. Additional detailing comes in the form of mesh underlay quarter panels, mesh tongues, and webbing loops at the heel. While branding is expressed through rubberized badges at the ankles, molded “NIKE AIR” tongue logos, “SUPREME” on the heel tabs, “NYC” embroidered at the rear, printed insoles, and co-branding on the sole units. Elevating the shoe are Air unit-assisted midsoles and matching rubber outsoles. The Supreme x Nike Air Bakin Spring 2022 collaboration will see a global release, via the streetwear imprint March 2, 11 a.m. EDT in the United States and March 4, 11 a.m. JST in Japan. For more footwear news, take a first look at the Tiffany & Co. x Nike Air Force 1 reverse colorway.

Best Footwear Trends From Milan Fashion Week FW23

As Milan Fashion Week comes to an end for the Fall/Winter 2023 season, Hypebeast is taking a look at the biggest footwear trends. In the Italian fashion capital, it appears that technical sneakers were the top choice of the week for showgoers, particularly Prada-branded ones. Prada’s Cloudbust Thunder Technical Fabric sneakers were seen on a couple of attendees, one in a black and blue colorway while the other arrived in a black/grey/white airbrushed detailing. Other technical sneakers included the Balmain Unicorn shoe, this time arriving in a rainbow aesthetic. The shoe has been a popular choice during fashion week, also last seen in our Paris Fashion Week Best SS23 Footwear roundup. The Nike P-6000 appeared alongside The North Face slip-ons and Salomon ACS Pro Advanced. The Salomons have long been the go-to choice for comfort and durability. Back in London this season, the exact same model appeared as a popular silhouette for street style. Nike sneakers reign supreme once again as the go-to silhouette for street style aficionados. Jordans and the Nike VaporWaffles were seen along side the Maison Mihara Yasuhiro Blakeys and Maison Margiela Tabi sneakers. Although various brands were seen on the streets of Milan this week, one thing is certain, sneakers are still a top choice amongst attendees, proving comfort stands above all else.If case you missed it, check out the Milan Fashion Week street style from the FW23 season.
