Patta and Converse Honor the Four-Leaf Clover With Their Latest One Star Pro Collab

After starting off the year by working alongside Reebok to deliver an all-black Club C to the table, Patta is diving head first back into the collaborative ring to introduce a brand new team-up with Converse. Ahead of the St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, the duo has come together to cook up a One Star Pro and four-piece apparel range that honors the four-leaf clover and is inspired by the luck, passion and effort that it takes to succeed. The initiative’s campaign features the R&B/Soul icon Erykah Badu who is seen modeling all of the capsule’s unique pieces. Leading the way for the assemblage is the kicks which come formed with hairy suede brown uppers that likely represent the soil from which clovers grow out of. The One Star logos have been remixed with clover icons in the center, and Patta branding has been added to the tongues. Laces turn up in all-black and the words “4 Leaf Clover” are printed in repeating fashion on the molds that rest just above the midsoles. For apparel, the two parties have readied a hoodie that’s made from brush-back terry fleece, a reversible padded vest that features utility pockets on the insides, pants with embroidered patches and cargo pockets and oversized co-branded tees.Click here to learn more about the collaboration and expect Patta to announce official release details soon.In other news, Hiroshi Fujiwara recently announced his Converse x FRGMNT By You initiative.

adidas Introduces the UltraBOOST Light

Since 2015, the UltraBOOST has offered ample comfort with its performance specifications while also finding much love from sneakerheads for its slick style. Many iterations have hit the market across its near-decade lifespan and for 2023, adidas has created its lightest version yet — the UltraBOOST Light. The aptly named model arrives with a new Light BOOST material that is 30% lighter when compared to previous UltraBOOSTs.In addition to its featherweight build, a Primeknit+ upper sees breathability and a sock-like fit further back the sneaker’s commitment to comfort. A redesigned Linear Energy Point (LEP) optimizes responsiveness, supporting the new Light BOOST material resting above it. At its bottom-most point, a Continental rubber outsole ensures readiness for any weather condition. Geared for performance running, the shoe has been prepared in three colorways, releasing in men’s and women’s sizing. For those interested in giving the new UltraBOOST Light a spin, pairs in all three colorways are available now for top-level adidas members via the adidas site at $190 USD each. A public launch is expected to take place on March 3. View this post on Instagram A post shared by adidas Running (@adidasrunning)For more in the world of footwear, we sat down with Damian Lillard to discuss his history with the Three Stripes, the future of adidas Basketball and more.

Official Images of the Nike Dunk Low “UNLV Satin”

Update: Earlier this year, a satin-covered rendition of the Nike Dunk Low “UNLV” popped up. Now, Nike has officially revealed the shimmery sneaker ahead of its release that is expected to take place later in 2023. For more information, dive into our previous coverage below.Original Story: For Nike, 2023 is the year of classic colorways. The Swoosh will reportedly be bringing back several iconic renditions throughout the year, including the Nike Air Foamposite One “Anthracite,” Nike Air Max CB 94 “Triple Black,” and the 2004 Air Jordan 13 “Wheat.”Now, the Nike Dunk Low “UNLV” is up to bat, reimagined in an all-over satin material that brings new life to the OG colorway. Serving as a well-deserved throwback to the Swoosh’s original “Be True To Your School” Pack — which was introduced during the model’s initial debut — color-blocked “Medium Grey” and “Varsity Red” tones outfit the release. The pair’s traditional leather facade is abolished and replaced with a luxurious satin finish. Sleek grey underlays receive slight metallic accents, sitting beneath opulent red panels that run through the mudguards, lacing systems, heel counters, and medial Swooshes. The rich tone also embraces the branded rear tabs, while standard white midsoles and rubber bottoms complete the design.Take a first look at the Nike Dunk Low “UNLV” in the gallery above. The rendition is set to release later in 2023 via Nike and select retailers for $110 USD.In other footwear news, the Air Jordan 1 High Elevate gets a delicate “Atmosphere” makeover.
