Nike Dresses Its Air Max 1 Slide in “White/Black”

Nike has just presented an all-new iteration of its Air Max 1 Slide and it is soon to be available in a “White/Black” color scheme.Back in 2019, the Swoosh presented a new slip-on version of its Air Max 90 in three new colorways, marking the start of a new era for the footwear specialist’s AM silhouette that surpassed its 30th anniversary. The original drop of the AM90 Slide showcased revitalized versions of some of its classic colorways — such as the OG “Smoke Grey/Volt,” “Black/White,” and “White Rose” — and now, this latest Air Max 1 version is coated in a combination of understated black, white, and grey tones. This new offering of the Nike Air Max 1 Slide arrives with a white mesh strap, while its suede overlays are also complemented by black mudguards and customary Nike branding on the lateral sides. Furthermore, the footbed is hit with hues of black and these sit pretty atop a classic visible Air unit and white midsole. You can take a closer look at the new Air Max 1 Slide above and it will be available via the official Nike website and with select retailers in the coming months. In other footwear news, take a look at the new Nike Air ACG Moc.

Nike ACG Air Moc Arrives With Olive Green Uppers

Due to the fact that slip-on silhouettes continue to run up the sales numbers, Nike has been capitalizing on this movement in fashion by bringing back some of its archival silhouettes. One of the models that aligns with the current trends is the Nike ACG Air Moc — a lightweight, easy-on-easy-off offering that was initially introduced in 1994. And after surfacing in a “Sail/Black” palette, the kicks have now been officially unveiled in an olive green colorway.Opting for a cleaner presentation, this newly-unveiled iteration ditches the dimpled uppers and ushers in a smooth canvas material that makes up the base layer. This piece is submerged in Spring-friendly olive green and comes complemented by a tiny black embroidered Swoosh that is planted near the collars. Out back, the kicks are fashioned with a black, tumbled leather heel overlay and toggle that allows wearers to adjust the fit to their liking. Down below, the street-ready sole unit comes equipped with speckled wallpapers that indicate its place as part of Nike’s sustainable “Move to Zero” initiative. At the time of writing, no release info has been announced just yet, but you can likely find Nike and select retailers dropping these in the coming months. For more news, check out a look at the upcoming Nike Air Max Pulse.
