Following a colorful take from Sean Weatherspoon and a “London Nights” colorway with Offspring, the ’90s-inspired adidas Orketro silhouette now surfaces in an in-line “Aluminum” color option.The upcoming Orketro colorway arrives in an “Aluminum” mesh base featuring winged leather overlays in “Off White” and “Purple Night Metallic” that stretch around the silhouette and meet at the heel like pointed flames. Three Stripes logos subtly arch down across the right side of the toe box and hoofed piping accents wrap around the upper section of the silhouette, connecting at the collars. Nike KD 3 “ALL-STAR” Makes a Retro Return
Ahead of the upcoming NBA All-Star Weekend, Kevin Durant and Nike are releasing a string of new colorway’s in the Brooklyn Nets’ signature silhouettes. Bringing back a classic, the Nike KD 3 “All-Star” which was first released in February 2011, is making a retro return in 2023. The shoe was originally worn by KD in the 2011 NBA All-Star Game and is now returning just in time for this year’s game in its OG challenge red, white and black color scheme. The shoe arrives in a mixture of materials including synthetic leather, mesh and Flywire. The red synthetic cover covers most of the upper, while white highlights the Swoosh and black detailing accented the midsole. Other features include KD-branded tongues that sit atop a red translucent outsole that rounds out the design. Following a subtle take in tonal “Mindful Grey,” the New Balance 1906R now surfaces with extra utilitarian touches — featuring Cordura materials and stash pockets above the laces.The upcoming pairs arrive in a robust mix of mesh underlays paired with smooth nubuck overlays. N-Lock New Balance logos run across the side panels while plastic guards reinforce the heel. Available in mustard yellow and black color options, the Cordura-equipped runners opt for red and purple accent colors respectively which are featured on the two-tone laces and underbellies of the zippered stash pockets.
