Utilizing the popular New Balance 2002R silhouette, the theme has found itself in a wide variety of colorways. Now, it goes back to its initial batch of grayscale colorways with a new black, gray and white look. The popular mixed material sneaker begins with a black mesh that is exposed at the collar and towards the toe. Its next layer favors a suede presentation with a blend of gray and beige appearing at the heel cap and as overlays at the toe box. Following this, a dark gray suede joins the look alongside a black suede that serves as the final layer of the detailed upper. As for branding, the “N” logo combines the letter in black with a white outline while “2002R” text appears at the lateral’s heel. Pivoting to the sole unit, an ABZORB midsole balances off-white with brownish-gray while an N-ERGY outsole completes the look in black.Release for the latest installment of New Balance’s “Protection Pack” for the 2002R is expected to take place in the coming months via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $165 USD.Enjoy a first look at the sneaker above and for more in the footwear space from New Balance, the 2002R just dropped in “Steel” and “Phantom” colorways.

<a href=”https://hypebeast.com/2022/11/new-balance-2002r-protection-pack-grayscale-release-info” title=”First Look at Another Grayscale New Balance 2002R "Protection Pack" Colorway” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST

The Three Stripes has been engaging with various entities such as Palace and Pixar for new launches, and now its skateboarding arm is revisiting its partnership with pro skater Kader Sylla. After teaming up on the adidas Superstar ADV earlier in the year, the two parties have reunited to produce a second colorway. The Studio City native takes a bold approach with this new offering. Straying away from the stealthy arrangement that informed his inaugural proposition, Sylla leans on a bold purple tone to swathe the kicks’ shaggy suede side panels and rubber toe caps. “I’m really excited about this release because it feels bigger than the last. I tried to do a color that people aren’t doing much…there aren’t too many purple shoes on the market!”, says Kader about the launch. In addition, the sneakers also come dressed with regal gold accents that are distributed to the tongue banners, Kader branding that sits adjacent to the stripes, heel Trefoil logos and lace dubraes.Interested in copping? adidas is slated to drop these on November 12 for $100 USD.For other news, check out new colorways of the adidas Supernova Cushion 7.

<a href=”https://hypebeast.com/2022/11/kader-sylla-adidas-superstar-adv” title=”Pro Skate Kader Sylla Unveils His Second adidas Superstar ADV Collaboration” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
