“Sweet Beet” is the Latest Nike SB Dunk High Flavor

Nike SB is no stranger to the Dunk. While Nike continues to usher in countless new colorways of its silhouette, the SB team and the SB Dunk line remains more particular in its selection of releases. As a result, 2022 has been packed with highlights for the SB Dunk with major releases including the HUF x Nike SB Dunk Low collection, SB Dunk Low “Dodgers” and the Neckface x Nike SB Dunk Low. Now, the SB team expands its Orange Label collection, a skate shop exclusive line, by outfitting the SB Dunk High in “Sweet Beet.”For this entry in the Orange Label series, the ever-popular white base with signature color combination makes its appearance with premium materials. White leather is covered by leather overlays in a “Sweet Beet” that lands in a pink-heavy magenta. Orange Label branding arrives on the tongue and sockliner while a stitched white midsole rests atop a “Sweet Beet” rubber outsole to round out the detailing.Look for the Nike SB Dunk High “Sweet Beet” to hit shelves exclusively via select skate shops at a price of $120 USD. Currently, a release date has not yet been announced, however, it is expected to be available this December.For more in the world of footwear, Nike continues its Chinese-themed “NAI-KE” series with another Air Force 1 Low colorway, this time carrying shaggy brown suede.

Vans Adds Cordura Fabric and Sherpa to the Sk8-Hi

Hot off of a Swarovski x Supreme collaboration, Vans is diving head first into the fall season with an assortment of exciting releases. Gearing up for the cold weather ahead, the American skate brand has upgraded its iconic Sk8-Hi with durable Cordura fabric and a sherpa lining that is sure to keep feet warm.Debuting in “Black” and “Walnut” colorways, the Vans Sk8-Hi Cordura pack balances skate-readiness with comfort designed for cold climates. Arriving in its typical shape, the Sk8-Hi Cordura features an upper that elevates the classic with versatility and reliability. The brand’s renowned vulcanized construction meets a high-pile sherpa fabric at the lining, offering softness and warmth. Both colorways utilize off-white touches at the sole, laces, lining and jazz stripe. From there, the “Black” and “Walnut” shades are featured on the respective upper’s Cordura fabric with a gum outsole rounding out each look.For those looking to cozy up this fall with the Vans Sk8-Hi Cordura pack, the official release is scheduled for November 1 via Vans. However, for those in the US, the “Walnut” colorway is available now on the Vans website at a price of $95 USD.For more in the footwear space, NEIGHBORHOOD has teamed up with Vans to present the Era 95 DX and Old Skool 36 DX in monochromatic, militaristic colorways.

Nike Outfits the Air More Uptempo in a “Valentine’s Day” Look

Each year, Nike presents an assortment of Valentine’s Day-themed looks. Often times these are simple color compositions that relate to the day of romance, however, the Swoosh has released colorways with direct references in the past as well. Recently, we’ve already been offered a look at a “Valentine’s Day” makeover on the Air Trainer 1. Now, the logo-clad Air More Uptempo joins the celebration.Following the reveal of a basketball-themed Air More Uptempo, Nike now presents a “Valentine’s Day” edition that combines maroon with chocolate brown for its signature hue found head to toe. This deep red is supported by light pink accents that arrive in a shaggy, towel-like appearance at the signature “AIR” lettering’s outline and heel Swoosh. In addition, the pink outlines the toe box’s Swoosh. As for the material composition, a nubuck base on the upper joins a mesh tongue and rubber sole unit.Release information regarding the Nike Air More Uptempo “Valentine’s Day” has not yet been disclosed by the Swoosh. Naturally, it is expected that these will land on the shelves in February 2023, likely arriving via Nike and select retailers at a price of $170 USD.In related footwear news, Nike has equipped the Air Max 90 in a rain-ready, GORE-TEX-lined colorway.
