Be at One With Nature in notwoways’ New ”kaki” Sneaker

Callum “Callux” McGinley and Rockwell Princely’s East London-based sneaker label notwoways is back and this time it’s diverting its attention to life out in the great outdoors with the release of the “kaki.”This new release comes hot on the heels of notwoways’ “just white” iteration — a style that merged four shades of white to create a minimalist’s dream. However, this time around, the sneaker merges a combination of “ntw orange,” “capulet olive,” “khaki green,” and “onyx black” colors across a winter-ready nubuck upper that’s been re-engineered to be accustomed to the unpredictable British elements. The sneaker also features suede overlays alongside a nylon mesh collar that’s complemented by a matching tongue — which is, of course, decorated with NTW’s classic orange paisley pattern on the interior tongue lining.Additionally, the modernized printed tongue logo design can be spotted across the tongue’s entirety, while an added tongue tab has also been included to supply extra brand visibility. And while this latest NTW sneaker welcomes change, the design also keeps things close to home with a familiar translucent black heel pull tab that sits alongside a translucent eyelet on the vamp. Rounding off the design, NTW welcomes a graffiti-style brand tag on the lateral front quarter that sits alongside other finer details such as the marble-effect translucent removable hang-tag and thick rope laces. As for the construction, NTW has included a recycled phylon midsole injection, as well as a sturdy, material-backing structure that’s used to minimize any creases when wearing the silhouette for long periods — which is also protected with a pre-applied, water-repellent layer that’s designed to keep all feet bone-dry.You can have a look at the new “kaki” sneaker from notwoways above and it will be available on the brand’s official website from November 1 6 p.m. GMT for £110.In other footwear news, take a first look at the Nike Dunk High 1985 “Valentines Day.”
