As the holiday season makes its way, Nike is set to celebrate the festive occasions ahead with a slew of ceremonial releases to keep the excitement high. Following the unveiling of the Christmas-ready Air Jordan 1 Mid and Low, along with the Nike Dunk Low “Tartan” readied in a holiday palette, the Swoosh is getting romantic with the launch of a special-edition Valentine’s Day Dunk Low. A smooth leather burgundy base sets a delightful tone, accompanied by complementary cream and pink hues. “Ivory” overlays run through the mudguards, lacing systems, ankle flaps and heel counters, while tumbled leather profile Swooshes connect to branded rear tabs tinted in flushed pink hues. Nylon tongues and laces match in deep burgundy, rounding out the design with milky midsoles and colored rubber bottoms. Nike’s Air Max Plus 3 Arrives in Rainbow Gradients
First debuted in 1990, the Nike Air Max Plus 3 was brought back to life in 2019 and has seen a limited number of brightly-toned colorways over the past few years. For its latest iteration, Nike dresses the pairs in colorful gradients with stacked “Tuned Air” text graphics across the mesh uppers.The rest of the shoe is constructed in a mix of padded leathers with gloss black panels across the toe cap and textured heel counter. Accents on the toe box and lines across the laterals assume a racing-inspired design, and additional details include striped laces and “Tn” element logos positioned on the tongue tab, lateral heel, and insoles. North Carolina A&T State University Is Honored With the Nike Dunk Low “Ayantee”
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and Nike have teamed up to deliver its collaborative Dunk Low “Ayantee.”The silhouette arrives with a grey and brown base and complementing grey overlays, while the laces, tongue, insole and heel are dipped in the HBCU’s colors of gold and blue. “Ayantee” branding can be found as a repeating pattern on the laces while the A&T initials stand out as the tongue tag and the year 1891 — when the school was founded — is embroidered on the heel.
