Nike has just presented its latest Air Force 1 Mid in a “Brown Plaid” colorway. The release comes after the Swoosh dropped its recent “Tokyo 2003” colorway, but this time, the footwear specialist is bringing a slice of contemporary to the party. The Air Force 1 is currently celebrating its 40th anniversary and an assemblage of releases have hit the shelves from retro-inspired looks to new-school colorway designs — but the “Brown Plaid” edition seems to sit right in the middle of both. Recently, Nike has presented a “Tartan Plaid” pack with the Air Jordan 1, Nike Dunk, Nike Blazer, and Air Force 1 Low, however, the latter has now been joined by its mid-cut counterpart for the second time — but it ditches the traditional tartan. Coming with a creamy leather upper and complemented with brown overlays, the customary mid-ankle strap comes in the same brown hue. The stand-out feature from this design, however, comes in the form of the “Plaid” Swooshes that sit comfortably atop a white midsole and gum rubber outsole. You can take a closer look at the Nike Air Force 1 Mid “Brown Plaid” above and it will be available on the official Nike website and with select retailers in the coming weeks for $150 USD.In other footwear news, take a look at the Nike Air VaporMax Plus with multi-color gradients.
