AFEW GOODS Presents the Yamasura “Dawn”

Elevating from footwear collaborations to making its own sneakers, German sneaker store AFEW and its AFEW GOODS line has stepped up to the challenge in recent years with the release of its Yamasura sneaker. Employing sustainable materials, AFEW GOODS introduced the Yamasura last year in a “Soil” colorway that pulled inspiration from the Ferrari Testarossa. Now, with an emphasis on the beauty of a warm sunrise, the Yamasura “Dawn” has been announced.Again, AFEW carefully selected its material composition as it strives for sustainability. To accomplish this, the upper carries a 100% vegan cornwaste leather alongside mesh while resting atop a sole comprised of BLOOM Algae EVA that is all natural rubber. Designed in Germany and handcrafted in Portugal, the sneaker features a blend of “Sand/Nude/White” throughout, creating a look that seamlessly complements a desert. It accomplishes this with a white mesh toebox surrounded by “Sand” and “Nude” vegan leather overlays. AFEW branding appears at the tongue, midfoot of each side, lateral heel, dubrae, sockliner and heel to complete the look. The AFEW GOODS Yamasura “Dawn” is limited to 250 pairs that will be distributed via AFEW’s in-store and raffle releases October 1 at a price of €210 EUR (approx. $207 USD). Mizuno Unveils a Trio of Wave Rider 10 Premium Colorways

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Mizuno Wave Rider series, the brand unveiled its all-new Mizuno Wave Rider 10 — a hybrid that can be utilized for running or laced up for lifestyle purposes. It recently was filtered through collaborative partners Footpatrol and BEAMS, and to end the month of September with a bang, the two-way offering is now being proffered in a trio of new general release colorways.First up on the roster is the “Cedar/Papyrus” iteration. This comes fitted with different shades of olive green, the lighter of which covers most of the upper while the darker tone takes shape on the leather and suede overlays. A pop of “Papyrus” can be seen on the mold that sits on the back end of the midsoles to add some fall-friendly flair. Next on the roster is the “Irongate/Light Rock” colorway. This installment comes formed with cooler blue tones that alternate in shading between its various overlays while the mesh underlays are treated with its titular tone. The “Snow White/White” variation is the brightest of the bunch as it bears a wintery ensemble. Angelic base layers are paired with cool gray and dusty blue overlays, creamy laces and small notes of beige parked on the rear.If you’re interested in copping, select retailers across Europe like Footpatrol and Hanon are dropping these on September 23.For other sneaker news, check out a look at Mizuno’s “Bareclutch” shoes for driving.

“Navy” Joins the Air Jordan 1 Low “Inside Out” Series

In its 37 years of existence, the Air Jordan 1 has blossomed into nearly an entire sneaker division itself, courtesy of Nike and Jordan Brand’s continuous reworks, collaborations and themed releases. In 2022, one of the ways Jordan brand has elaborated on this was the introduction of the “Inside Out” series. Starting on the Air Jordan 1 Mid, this uniquely structured colorway series blends materials and layers. Now, following a darker gray pack of colorways, a “Navy” color palette is landing on the Air Jordan 1 Low “Inside Out.”This time around, a textile mesh is joined by suede, leather and patent leather to outfit the sneaker’s deconstructed upper. A standard navy outfits the leather Swooshes, suede collar and overlays, laces, mesh tongue and mudguard while a darker shade lands on the patent leather toebox, midfoot mesh base and embroidered Wings logo at the heel. Gray joins the mix at the lacing system towards the collar and on the heel, holding reflective properties in each place. A traditional Air Jordan 1 sole unit completes the look in “Sail” at the stitched midsole and gray on the rubber outsole.Take an official look at the Air Jordan 1 Low Inside Out “Navy” above. Release is expected to take place in the coming months via Nike and select retailers at a price of $120 USD.In other footwear news, Jordan Brand has prepared the Air Jordan 1 Low with yet another wear-away upper, this time in black and gold.
