adidas continues to keep its lineup of offerings fresh with new models such as the UltraBOOST DNA XXII and 4DFWD 2 alongside a plethora of adidas YEEZY releases. Despite tension seemingly building between Kanye West and the Three Stripes, their collaborative adidas YEEZY line has not slowed down. Following the chaos that ensued on YEEZY Day 2022, images of the upcoming adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 “MX Grey” have popped up, adding to the “MX” series of patterned adidas YEEZY releases.Following an initial look at the colorway, detailed images have surfaced of the iconic sneaker’s “MX Grey” makeover. Beginning with a Primeknit upper, the adidas YEEZY BOOST 350 V2 finds itself in a familiar build. Full-length BOOST hits the midsole while standard rope laces and a pull tab round out the construction of the sneaker. New Balance and its lifestyle footwear category are absolutely killing the sneaker game right now thanks to its constant output of noise-making collaborations and aesthetically pleasing general releases. The brand has a handful of silhouettes that are running up the sales numbers right now, one of which is the 2002R. Hot off the heels of being revealed in a clean “Calm Taupe” colorway, the model thrown itself back to the frontlines to reveal a new “Eclipse/Castlerock” iteration.The low-slung model leans on a darker set of neutral tones for stylization here. Buttery pig suede overlays that affix to the heels, mid-foot, tongues and front ends come drowned in an “Eclipse” tone. Accenting hits of “Castlerock” get ushered in to ornament the additional overlays that drop off on the collars and toe boxes. Teased back in June, Praying has now returned to announce the official release of its adidas Supernova Cushion 7 collaboration. Taking to Instagram, the Los Angeles/New York label centered around a post-Internet aesthetic, drawing from elements of fast fashion, pop-culture, with underlying tones of religion and dogma, launched a countdown for the release of the shoe.Serving as the label’s first sneaker collaboration, the Praying x adidas Supernova Cushion 7 is defined by its focus on overbranding. The heavy branding serves to reimagine the reissued archival runner, constructed with recycled content generated from production waste.The uppers found on the Praying x adidas Supernova Cushion 7 feature clean white mesh bases accented by Three Stripes overlays and other dynamic panels. Additional detailing comes in the form of Praying logos on the lateral sides, branding print lenticular elements, adidas branding motifs and printed insoles. Elevating the shoe are white FORMOTION EVA midsoles paired with blue and translucent rubber outsoles with Praying logos.
