Since Teddy Santis joined New Balance as the Creative Director of the MADE in USA line, the footwear offerings from the division have been elevated with simplistic, tasteful looks. Now, following the 990v3 “Scarlet,” we’re offered yet another colorful look from the division.Arriving in “Marigold,” the MADE in USA 990v2 is a change of pace from recent colorways such as “Black” and “Sea Salt.” The upper is prepared in a blend of hairy suede, pig suede and mesh with various shades of orange contrasted by hits of black throughout. Key branding elements also arrive in black, including the iconic “N” logo and “USA” text at the heel. Touches of off-white find themselves at the laces, tongue, lining and ABZORB-infused midsole to further support this fall-ready look. As with all MADE in USA footwear, each pair is composed of a domestic value of 70% or more. The New Balance MADE in USA 990v2 “Marigold” is slated to launch August 12 at 10am EDT via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $195 USD.In other footwear news, the thisisneverthat x New Balance 1906R and 2002R collection launched today via HBX.

First Look at the Eastside Golf x Air Jordan 12
After Eastside Golf athlete Wyatt Worthington was spotted in a new colorway of the AJ12 Low G’s last week, new images have surfaced of yet another collaboration between the two brands. This is the first time we’ve seen a golf version of the AJ12 in its more recognizable high profile with a spikeless outsole that leans into the on/off course functionality. The Air Jordan 12 Golf comes in a Sedona red mudguard and cream colored leather upper section. Other unique touches include the Eastside swinging chain logo on the tongue, a splatter graphic at the heel, custom grass and dirt insoles and unique packaging artwork that will make for a great unboxing experience. While there is no official release date yet, look for these shoes to arrive sometime in November this year just in time for the holidays. In other golf news, professional skateboarder Jack Fardell’s new brand represents the “Australian way of loving golf.”
Air Jordan 12 “Black Taxi” Lets Its Yellow Shine
Jordan Brand has reworked the Air Jordan 12 in plenty of different colorways over the years, however, none are as influential in the shoe’s history as the original “Taxi.” It’s rare to see a model so bound to one look as colorways such as the “Wings,” “Reverse Taxi” and now “Black Taxi” have all drawn inspiration from the “Taxi” color arrangement. Earlier this year, the “Taxi” treatment graced the Air Jordan 12 Low Golf after four years had passed since the last time the look hit the Air Jordan 12. Now, rather than simply reissuing the colorway, a “Black Taxi” rework is coming soon. The all-black base is accented by yellow “Taxi” hits at the collar’s eyelets, tongue and heel branding, outsole detailing and midfoot patches. The upper takes its usual shape with nubuck resting next to a scaly leather. From there, black laces and a black sole unit further emphasize the hits of yellow by keeping it the only point of contrast, completing this OG-inspired look.Look for the Air Jordan 12 “Black Taxi” to hit shelves November 19 via Nike and select retailers at a price of $200 USD.In other Jordan Brand news, official images of the Two 18 x Air Jordan 2 Low have popped up.
