Unsent Studio Waters its Crocs so You Don’t Have To

Long gone are the days when your only option to slip into a set of mules was to crack out your Crocs or slip into a pair of Birkenstock Bostons. The world of clogs and mules in 2022 is a weird and wonderful place – a place where we’re both spoilt for choice and mystified […]

Nike Dunk Low “Chenille Swoosh” Appears With a Hornets-Friendly Palette

We’ve seen so many Dunk iterations roll out in the last few years that after a while, they all start to look far too similar. However, Nike has shown efforts in keeping things refreshing while still giving the silhouette time to shine by making slight alterations to its build. One example of that is the recent Dunk “Chenille Swoosh” series that has showed off a handful of colorways in recent memory, and now it’s adding this “Grand Purple/Neptune Green” rendition to its stockpile. This forthcoming makeup is in now way, shape or form affiliated with the Charlotte Hornets, but its color scheme certainly reminds us of the NBA franchise. Chenille-textured Nike checks along with the smooth leather overlays, laces and interior liners are all decorated with the titular tone. “Neptune Green” is used as an accenting hue here as it furnishes the Nike branding on the tongues and heels as well as the borders of the aforementioned Swooshes. Breaking up these vivid tones comes simple white finishes atop the toe boxes, quarters and collars. No release info has been announced yet, but keep your eyes peeled for Nike to release these in the coming weeks. In other news, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “White” has received a release date.

doublet and Suicoke’s Dalmatian Sandals Are for the Bold-Minded Terrain Trotters

First debuted on the Japanese label’s Fall/Winter 2022 “THIS IS ME” runway, doublet’s wildly imaginative Dalmatian Sandals, crafted in collaboration with Suicoke, make a solid case for the socks-with-sandals mentality. The head-turning footwear offering features Dalmatian print atop a calf-hair upper and a detachable neoprene sock liner in contrasting tones and patterns. For support, an oversized rubber midsole adds to the drama, hanging above a Japanese-style Vibram outsole with paw-shaped pads on the forefoot and the heel. And if you zoom in, you’ll find a red lining that offers an eclectic touch to the neoprene socks, as well as branding that resides on both the footbed and the straps.Suicoke, established in 2006, has made a name for itself as a cult-favorite Japanese purveyor of staple performance sandals, with a slew of fashionable silhouettes. A frequent collaborator, the sandal-maker often lends its signature silhouettes to creative labels across the globe (peep the brand’s Joshua Vides, Missoni and Carhartt WIP collabs from earlier this summer), but it’s safe to say that doublet lead designer Masayuki Ino’s take is among the most daring. The doublet x Suicoke Dalmatian Sandals are now available to shop on Dover Street Market’s webstore for $675 USD. Take a look at the inventive design above.Elsewhere in footwear, ASICS has brought back the Gel-Lyte III in a new Wisteria style.
