Jordan Brand has a tendency to bring back the general feel of past colorways to modernized makeups by executing minor design elements. And that’s certainly the case for the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High OG “Twist 2.0” which is arriving in the coming months as a follow-up to the first Air Jordan 1 High OG “Twist” iteration that was released back in 2019.The main resemblance between both pairs is that they both lean on soft pony hair textures that are dyed in black to texturize elements such as the Swooshes, overlays and ankle flaps. Color-blocking for this updated installment goes in a slightly more toned-down direction. Instead of the white accents that were found on the collars, quarters and toe boxes, Jordan Brand drapes these panels with more of a lighter gray hue. For Teddy Santis, it’s been a busy year. Aside from his various Aimé Leon Dore projects, Santis debuted his contributions to New Balance’s MADE in USA line earlier this year. Now, after reworking the 990v1 and 990v3, Santis offers the 990v2 in yet another simple yet refined colorway. The silhouette is a familiar one for the line with several pairs already hitting shelves this year.This time around, a “Black” makeover is selected with the 990v2 utilizing the color on its upper made of pig suede. While the “N” logo is presented in this form, a white outline allows for it to stand out rather than carry a completely tonal look. Gray suede overlays pair with an off-white mesh base while a cream shade lands on the laces and tongue. This shade continues at the ABZORB midsole which is designed to absorb impact. Rounding out the pair, a premium synthetic suede sockliner combines with a black rubber outsole.The latest entry in Teddy Santis’ New Balance MADE in USA line is hitting shelves July 7 via New Balance and select retailers at a price of $195 USD.In case you missed it, New Balance has further explored the slip-on trend with its New Balance Clog.

One could definitely make the argument that momentum has never really been on New Balance’s side in the fashion that it is at the current time. The Boston sportswear imprint has a chokehold on the sneaker community as it continues to capture their hearts with its eye-catching collaborations and flurry of versatile GRs. It’s no secret that the brand has gone full-throttle on its New Balance 550, and this season it’s adding this multi-colored entry to its repertoire.A majority of the sneakers are done up with an off-white tone. Creamy applications see their way to areas like the perforated mudguards, toe boxes, tongues, collars and laces while smaller doses of beige top off the quarter panels and heels. The accents here are what do most of the talking. N logos immediately capture our gaze thanks to their yellow paint jobs, as well as tiny hits of red that show up on the lower end of the throat.
