JJJJound — a design agency-turned-lifestyle brand — has earned respect from the streetwear and sneakers audience for its minimal-yet-elevated approach to producing quality products. Sneaker collaborations have swiftly become an area that the Montreal-based entity thrives in most, and after teasing a clean olive and black New Balance 990v3, it’s now shining a light on its upcoming GEL-KAYANO 14 capsule with ASICS.This marks the first time that JJJJound has teamed up with the Japanese sportswear company, and together the duo has fashioned a duo of neutral-heavy colorways. There are certain similarities between the two such as the white mesh underlays and metallic silver overlays. Additionally, the lateral heels have been remixed with “JJJound” branding, only it’s written in the silhouette’s signature font. On the first pair, the tiger stripes are filled in with black and the midsole units are executed with a creamy exterior. Its release sibling takes a brighter approach and features bright white ASICS logos and midsoles. Insoles on each pair split between an ASICS hit on the left shoe and a JJJJound spell out on the right. No release info has been announced by either party just yet, but you can likely expect these to hit the market in the coming months. In other news, ASICS recently unveiled its METASPEED EDGE+ and METASPEED SKY+ models.

First Glance at pgLang’s Upcoming Converse Chuck Taylor and Pro Leather Collaborations
Energy is high around the pgLang camp right now as Kendrick Lamar announced that his fifth studio album titled Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers is slated to arrive on May 13, and Baby Keem shut down the Coachella stage by bringing him out during his weekend two set. With anticipation looming over this highly-anticipated record, Dave Free — the multi-disciplinary company’s co-founder — is striking up even more excitement as he’s just teased the upcoming pgLang x Converse collaborations.Free took to Twitter to show off a Converse Chuck Taylor Hi and Pro Leather Ox, both of which are fashioned in a similar color scheme. The former may look like a traditional white Chuck Taylor Hi from afar, but up close you’ll notice that the eyelets have been modified from the usual circular rings to metallic silver D-rings. Additionally, the exposed stitchings, along with the medial side One Star logos have been tinted with a beige hue, the latter of which sits below a “pgLang for” spell out. The Pro Leathers also feature the D-Ring lace loops and dressed with a monochromatic look. An off-white hue wraps the shoe from top to bottom, and “pgLang” comes debossed into the lateral panel.Kendrick Lamar previously worked with Nike on a Cortez and React Element 55 team-ups, and this marks his first venture with Converse. Stay tuned for more info on this capsule. In other news, peep an early glimpse at Stüssy’s Converse Chuck 70 Hi collab.
