Autry Adds Sleek New Styles to Its Summer Sneaker Roster

American label Autry is continuing its long-awaited comeback by adding a variety of new styles to its sneaker roster for Spring/Summer 2022.Returning to the game towards the end of last year, the heritage label sticks with classic silhouettes like the CLC, as well as introducing the Medalist and Dallas in a new selection of colorways.Initially designed to be worn when playing tennis, Autry’s sleek and minimalist designs are as comfortable on the street as they are on court, with fresh whites and jet blacks accompanied by a plethora of more vibrant summer-ready hues. Rounded out with Autry’s signature flag branding on the upper, each sneaker comes equipped with flat lace fastening, almond toe, a cushioned midsole and perforated sole for all-day breathability.Autry’s latest collection is available to buy now from the Tessuti webstore. In other footwear news, Mountain Research and Reebok are prepping a Club C Mid II collaboration.

GmbH’s Ergonomic Riding Ankle Boots Subvert Sartorial Traditions

You can always count on Serhat Isik and Benjamin Alexander Huseby’s label GmbH to serve sensuality, sex, and class in one cohesive and polished collection, and Spring/Summer 2022 was no exception. Take its Ergonomic Riding Ankle Boot in “Black Pleather” or “Blue Denim,” which combines that underground Berlin clubbing scene aesthetic of leather and metal exquisitely with formal traditional cues and contemporary engineering, once more channeling GmbH’s love for decoding menswear norms. In “Black Pleather,” the Ergonomic Riding Ankle Boot sports a mid-top design intersected by an asymmetrical zipper made in silver-tone metal hardware, accenting the uppers elegantly while a metal-clad heel sticks out at the rear in an avant-garde manner. Here, GmbH’s logo can be found engraved into the heel, while more branding adorns the pointed zipper pulls on the uppers.Much is the same on the “Blue Denim” iteration, only here the design appears softer and eschews that underground Berlin aesthetic GmbH often taps into. Regardless of the version you choose, the Ergonomic Riding Ankle Boot will set you back £455 GBP (or $510 USD), and both can be bought from Machine-A in-store or online now.Elsewhere, Gonz has received his own adidas UltraBOOST DNA.

Mountain Research and Reebok Prep The Club C Mid II With Detachable Lace Guards

Mountain Research and Reebok team up once again to deliver a new Reebok Club C Mid II with a funky twist at the top of the shoe. The duo previously took on the Alien Stomper and DMX Trail Shadow silhouettes through a number of releases in colorways such as a black and white and all-white for the former while the latter sported “Pure Grey” and “Camel” palettes. For this current collaborative effort, the Japanese label and sportswear brand opted to go for the highly favored Reebok Club C series. The design didn’t veer too far from the standard minimalistic makeup as supple leather uppers are kept white with details finished in Cobalt Blue from the logos to the upper eyelets, sock liner and rubber outsole. To take things up a notch, the pair comes with two lace guards that can be switched for one or the other depending on your mood. One cover has rows of perforated holes while the other reads “HOLIDAYS IN THE MOUNTAIN.”The Mountain Research x Reebok Club C Mid II is set to release on May 1 through both the AFEW and 43einhalb.For more Reebok-related news, the brand resurrected Allen Iverson’s Answer IV “54 Points.”
