Known for evolving classic loafer silhouettes, Blackstock & Weber is back with its new lookbook for the Spring/Summer 2022 season. Titled “Getaway,” the new set of offerings explores updated fabrics and heightened constructions, while still remaining true to the brand’s core aesthetic.Helmed by founder and creative director Chris Echevarria, the prospect of “Getaway” is to channel one’s favorite place to wind down and clear their head. For Echevarria, one of these places is Puerto Rico whose serine beaches and clear water comprise both this season’s lookbook and video. Showcased in the lookbook is the Mason Horse Bit Loafer, the Clásico Tassel Loafer and The Ellis Penny Loafer. The range of contemporary silhouettes comes to life via classic leather fabrics in onyx, chocolate and butterscotch, in addition to warm-hued animal print fabrics.A standout of the SS22 offerings is the debut of the Palomino II loafer. As an updated version of the first Palomino loafer, the new edition comes decked out in a spotted pony hair upper and a gold-plated horse bit. Finishing off the shoe is a Goodyear-welted sole and gold embossed branding. Just like its predecessor, the Palomino II’s are sure to sell out quickly upon their release on Friday, April 29 at 12 p.m. ET. atmos, F-LAGSTUF-F and PUMA Join Hands for a Suede Collaboration
atmos has been cooking up a flurry of footwear collaborations in recent memory that’s it’s almost hard to keep up. After recently linking up with ASICS to engineer subway-inspired GEL-LYTE III colorways as well as an Earth Day-focused Cloudnova “Midnight” collaboration with On, the Japanese imprint is now turning to F-LAGSTUF-F and PUMA to create simple-yet-sleek Suede collaboration. The shoes are designed with a two-toned motif that is confirmed to be inspired by New York, and its presentation is crafted in alternating fashion. Uppers are engineered with full hairy suedes and both are fitted with navy toe boxes, white laces and green PUMA tongue logos. The right shoe bears white panels with navy stripes on the lateral wall while the medial is flipped with navy panels and white stripes. Pop over to the left side and you’ll notice that it’s just an inverted version of that. Insoles also take the alternating theme to heart as the right features F-LAGSTUF-F branding while the left is printed with an atmos hit.Interested in adding to your rotation? LaMelo Ball Blasts Off Into Space With His New Puma MB.01 “Galaxy”
While we won’t be seeing LaMelo Ball suiting up for the playoffs due to the Charlotte Hornets getting knocked out of the play-in game, we can still be connected to the young hooper this season through his product launches with PUMA. His signature line continues to grow steadily, and it’s ready to add another entry to its catalog: the PUMA MB.01 “Galaxy” colorway. For this newest hardwood-ready offering, Ball allows the galactic graphics to do most of the heavy lifting. Milky-way inspired prints are plastered across the rear paneling as well as the entire interior lining. These come complemented by navy embroidered wings on the lateral side and synthetic overlays on the medial. In addition, fluorescent pops of neon red are dripped onto the tongue’s “1 of 1” hits, laces and forefoot PUMA logos, and mated with bold blue toe boxes and neon green pops atop the throat and outsoles. The color palette is somewhat reminiscent of Kevin Durant’s iconic NERF x Nike KD 4 from 2011.Detailed shots of the kicks are available to peep above, and note that these are dropping via PUMA on April 29 for $140 USD.In case you wanted more sneaker news, check out the recent Butter Goods and PUMA’s sophomore collection for Spring 2022.
