Menswear brand Todd Snyder has had itself quite the eventful year of footwear collaborations as it has stacked four team-ups with New Balance and a Jack Purcell project with Converse. And to close out its 10th anniversary celebrations, the NY-based imprint is making room for a winter-friendly Desert Boot and Wallabee capsule with Clarks.Each silhouette bears a duo of vintage, militaristic colors including an “Olive” and “Khaki” and comes treated with smooth suede exteriors. Inside each iteration comes shearling lining which delivers a warm and cozy feel that’s much needed to brave the colder seasons, and military-inspired twill tape touches down on the back ankle.. In terms of branding, you can spot a debossed “Todd Snyder” hit on the lower lateral heels, while spell outs of both parties are embedded into the shoe’s hang tags. The traditional brown crepe sole pieces are utilized as the foundation to complete its preppy look.“We looked at some vintage military inspiration for the colors of the suede and the twill tape on the heel, and then we wanted to add a bit of our brand DNA by working in an orange stripe between the sole and insole,” says Snyder. “Some people may think of these old-school desert boots as summer-only, but I wanted to put snow tires on them because I like the way they look with cold weather styles like cords and denim.”The boots are dropping on December 15 via Todd Snyder’s website and Todd Snyder’s new Rockefeller Center store at 620 Fifth Ave.In case you missed it, check out a first look at the Todd Snyder x New Balance 992.

Earlier this week, Vans unveiled its all-new Slip Hiker LX in “Marshmallow,” serving up a toasty bootie silhouette just in time for the winter months. Now, courtesy of Dover Street Market Ginza, the pair has arrived in a season-appropriate black colorway.The bootie style features a nylon upper that’s stitched in such a way to give it a quilted finish, working its way from the toe to the cuff where a nylon collar can be found around the latter.
