London-based luxury retailer Presented By powered by Crep Protect enlists the most acclaimed figures of their respective industries to delve into their journey and talk everything sneaker-related. Known for his starring roles in The Irishman, This Is England and Boardwalk Empire, renowned actor Stephen Graham stops by the store for the latest episode of The PB Show.Speaking on his first encounter with the YEEZY Boost 350, Graham recalls, “At first I thought they looked like Cornish pasties, but I tried them on and they were so comfy, I couldn’t believe it.” Despite honoring the adidas Spezial as the silhouette of his childhood, one sneaker he’s long admired but hasn’t been able to buy is the Nike Air MAG, “It’s a work of art, it’s amazing.”Presented with a selection of sneakers, (or “Trainees”) such as the Off White™ x Nike Air Force 1, YEEZY Boost 350 “Yeshaya Reflective” and Air Jordan 1 “Hyper Royal”, he expands on his affinity for the Air Jordan 4 “Fire Red” and reflects on his breakdancing days. Returning to the comfort factor of the YEEZY Boost 350, he was drawn to the “Tail Light” in particular describing it as, “A nice summer shoe, you can’t go wrong.”As well as picking out his favorite sneakers, Graham relives his craziest moments, from getting tear-gassed during a Roma vs Lazio derby match in Italy to falling from a multi-story car park as a child. New Balance’s 327 is the perfect canvas for color — just check out the patterned Casablanca pair, “Pink Paradise” iteration, or Concepts’ version if you need reminding — but every now and then, New Balance leans towards its dark side for a more ominous colorway, such as this blacked-out look.While the 327 has appeared in triple black before, upon reflection we see that the pair was more of a dark gray as opposed to the no-fooling-around blacked-out finish on the 327 you see above. Here, a synthetic textile has been used for the base of the shoe’s upper, essentially forming its now-signature shape before lashings of suede and leather decorate the upper.Suede has been added for structural integrity, hitting up the toe box, eyestay, vamp, and heel sections, while black leather has been used to mark out the “N” emblem that graces the mid-panel. After the release of the Air Jordan 36 “First Light” variation, Jordan Brand dropped a traditional minimalistic colorway tagged as the “Psychic Energy.” The silhouette recently took on a few renditions in collaboration with NBA All-Stars Jayson Tatum and Luka Dončić.The hardwood-ready shoe starts off with a breathable Jacquard Leno-weave upper in white lined with a TPU ribbon. A subtle reptile texture runs throughout the tongue and ankle collar in a stark black hue with an enlarged tongue tab rolled onto the laces featuring the Jumpman logo in bright red.
