Kawasaki and adidas are Revving up a Two-Pronged Ninja-Inspired ZX Pack

There’s collaborations galore that are being pumped out by the adidas family this Fall including that of the collection with Disney’s Monsters, Inc., a dog-inspired team-up with Extra Butter and a motion-blurred EQT PROTO with atmos. And to fill up its release calendar with another release, the Three Stripes team has just unveiled a new collection with Kawasaki that features Ninja-inspired adidas ZX 8000 and the adidas ZX 5K BOOST installments. In this two-pronged pack, the adidas ZX 8000 is the more flamboyant option as it carries more statement-making accents. Both sides are styled with the same neon green and blue hits that you’d find on the Japanese company’s signature Ninja motorcycle, both of which plant themselves onto the leather overlays across the upper. Underneath sits perforated leathers that arrive in white while metallic silver molds hug the lateral and medial heels. The brand’s Ninja branding plasters across the lateral side on the left shoe while the right shoe places it on the medial panel. Its release sibling in the adidas ZX 5K BOOST takes a much darker design approach. Most of the real estate here is done up in a solid black while the rear cages also bring in some metallic silver applications. From there, slime green accents steal the show as they fill in the lace loops, dubraes, “Ninja” spell outs and the quarter panel’s trim.At the time of writing, an official launch date hasn’t been announced, but be sure to keep an eye out on the adidas release calendar in the coming weeks if you want to cop.For other news, Real Madrid’s 2021/22 Third Kit by adidas was recently revealed.

adidas Y-3 Terrex Swift R3 GORE-TEX Has Landed With a Stealthy Makeover

When the weather starts to make drastic transitions into more consistent rainy and snowy days during the Fall and Winter seasons, it’s important that your wardrobe is ready to keep you protected (cause let’s be real, wet socks are a major pet peeve). Luckily, adidas and Y-3 have introduced a brand new footwear model titled the adidas Y-3 Terrex Swift R3 GORE-TEX, and it has just launched in a stealthy color palette.Height-wise, the kicks are cut in similar fashion to an army boot and they come designed with a fashion forward and technical aesthetic. Uppers arrive with multiple layers, and feature cages that attach to rear of the lateral and medial sides, slightly lipped-out heel pieces, elastic straps that sit on the quarters and double stacked overlays on the toe boxes, all of which is lined with GORE-TEX to fight off wetter weather conditions. Branding is primarily present in two sections: on the lower quarters which feature a “GORE-TEX” hit and adidas Y-3 notations as well as the midsoles which have a debossed “Swift R3” slapped on in tonal fashion.Interested in copping? You can head over to HBX right now and find them available for an MSRP of $553 USD.If you’re interested in more footwear news, atmos and adidas Consortium just unveiled a motion-blurred EQT PROTO.

Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Arrives With Fall-Appropriate Orange and Black Hues

The Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT is important to the Jordan Brand family and its fans because it offers the shape and feel of the original Air Jordan 1 model, but with slight alterations that make it more modern. Since its inception, the silhouette has been fashioned in a surplus of new colorways and materials, the latest being this orange and black installment that has emerged just in time for Fall.Various types of pumpkin spice latte-esque oranges stand out on this lifestyle iteration, the most prominent being a dustier shade that pours onto the suede overlays nearest the throat, forefoot, lower heels and the ankle flaps while the darker hue lands on the collars. Next in line is a pitch black tone which wraps the nubuck toe boxes, quarter paneling, laces, tongues and the ball-and-wings embellishments. Hits of white also make their presence felt as they are shown through the cut-out Swooshes and Zoom insole branding, in addition to pops of red that poke out on the tongue notations and footbeds. Downstairs, the white midsoles are stacked above a bold orange sole unit.Nike hasn’t said when these will be hitting stores just yet, but you can likely expect them to launch in the coming months for the usual $140 USD price tag.Seeking out more sneaker news?
