Nike Commemorates Latinx Heritage Month With a Colorful Air Max 90 “LHM” Colorway

In commemoration of Latinx Heritage Month, Nike has manufactured a multi-colored Air Max 90 “LHM” colorway, and its official images have just been revealed. This newest piece continues the Swoosh’s ongoing celebrations of various cultures and follows up the previously-launched “Lucha Libre” capsule and Air Max 97 “Puerto Rico” makeup. The graphics on the base layers are without a doubt the most outstanding element of the shoes. Across the toe boxes, mid-foot, Swooshes and the heels, you’ll find a burst of technicolor prints which are symbolic of the family-oriented bond that’s shared across Latino culture and inspired by ’90s goalkeeper kits. Adjacent to the playful patterns are notes of black which tumble onto the leather mudguards, tongues, liners and eye stays. Heel molds are submerged in a bold yellow hue and the word “Familia” — a nod to the inclusivity of family — adorns the lateral side’s window and the insoles. Tongues swap out the usual Nike Air branding and for a “CLA” logo which stand for the fictional Club Atletico Familia team. Additionally, the outsoles are presented in alternating fashion. Forefoots are cooked up with a black, scrappy aesthetic while the left side heels are dialed to a yellow hue and the right shoe features a dusty blue.Check out a closer look up above and note that the Air Max 90 “LHM” is dropping September 29.Looking for more footwear news? Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT Gets Drenched With All-Green Uppers

Jordan Brand has been pushing the tempo lately for its modernized Air Jordan 1 High Zoom CMFT as it’s recently been uncovered in a luxe “Gold Laser” colorway as well in a heritage-inspired “Bred” palette. And with the Fall season starting to kick into gear, it appears that the silhouette is looking to pour out even more iterations to the market, one being this makeup that possesses all-green uppers.Base layers lean on various shades of the vivid color, the most prominent being a shamrock-like hue which dumps onto the nubuck lateral and medial walls, toe boxes, tongues and ankle flaps. The laces supply some subtle contrasting as they appear with a teal-ish exterior while the tongue branding, ball-and-wings logos and the cut-out Swooshes are submerged in a muted olive tone. Inside the kicks, the insoles come branded with a black Jumpman logo. Lower portions of the shoes are presented with crispy white midsoles and treading that is dialed to a dark olive. If you’re interested in beefing up your rotation with these, you can likely expect Nike to release them in the coming weeks for the usual $140 USD.In other sneaker news, first images of the Air Jordan 1 Element GORE-TEX “Light Bone” have popped up.
