New Balance’s 327 has been reimagined in a multitude of different ways from denim uppers alongside Levi’s to bold red base layers inspired by vodka cranberry cocktails with Concepts. To provide its fans with even more options this Fall, the silhouette is widening its GR range with a fresh black and white makeup that features paisley patterns.The base layers of these 327s are designed in split alternating fashion. Black and white bandana patterns ornament a majority of the lateral side and come paired next solid black suede overlays, laces and enlarged “N” logos. Additional accents are found by way of the gray suede overlay that is next to the collars and the white borders of the “N” insignias. Medial walls are done up without any patterns and instead present themselves with lighter gray suede overlays and canvas walls. Rounding out this grayscale-focused installment are white midsole units and stealthy waffle treading.Parties who are interested in copping can do so via New Balance Japan right now for ¥15,400 (approx. $140 USD). In the realm of sneakers there are always certain brands and silhouettes that get their run of being in the spotlight, and right now, Nike and its Dunk are right at the forefront. In terms of the Dunk Low specifically, a high volume of colorways have already been released to the market throughout the course of 2021, and now this orange and gold colorway is being slotted in.For this impending installment, the Swoosh design team didn’t hold back on the louder color schemes. The upper layer mainly sees through to an orange and white presentation, the former color of which flows onto the laces, overlays and Nike Air branding that rests on the tongues while the latter shows up on the smooth leather toe boxes, quarters and collars as well as the interior lining and heel’s “Nike” hits. Swooshes then usher in some subtle contrasting as they are whipped up with a muted gold coat. Jordan Brand is blessing its fans with a barrage of retro releases this Fall, and to cap off the last full week of September, it’s slated to deliver the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Prototype.” These lifestyle-focused kicks are influenced by the design ethos of actual prototypes and as a result bears various accenting hues and cutting room floor-inspired elements.Grayscale hues are the most dominant on this iteration, the strongest being a black tone that drapes the Swooshes, tongues, laces and the lower heel overlays. Quarter panels and toe boxes are submerged in white while the overlays near the throat and around the toes are dialed to a lighter silver. Ankle flaps and collars color-block with various shadings of blue while pops of orange touch the tongue branding and exposed stitchings above the Swooshes. To further pronounce its prototype look, perforations appear on the collars to essentially mark where you would cut if you so chose to flip these into a low top.
