BEAMS has reunited with Reebok for their latest collaboration, focusing on the Club C Laceless Mule which was first unveiled earlier this year. The new design strips the silhouette back to basics, with only subtle detailing decorating the mule’s upper. While the most eye-catching feature of the silhouette is its design — which sees a classic sneaker transformed into a slip-on mule — the BEAMS-branded detailing remains subtle. Each tongue features BEAMS and Reebok co-branding in a tonal light grey, while the classic Reebok window logo has been replaced by a blank name tag on the lateral side.Take a look at the BEAMS x Reebok Club C Laceless Mule in the gallery above. The collaborative silhouette is due to release via select stockists including Sivasdescalzo on September 3.For more footwear releases, Merrell has transformed its Hydro Moc into a slide silhouette.

Merrell 1TRL Introduces the Confusing Hydro Slide
After debuting its new range of Hydro Moc colorways for Fall, Merrell 1TRL is back with a new take on the divisive amphibious silhouette, introducing the Hydro Slide. The Merrell 1TRL Hydro Moc is an interesting silhouette because it’s designed to be used as a hiking shoe that can be worn through water despite the holes that make up the upper construction. Now, as a slide, this is even more confused, as the toe is completely exposed, the throat and mid-panel section feature a littering of holes, and of course, there is no back to this pair.Formed from single-density injected EVA foam, the slide is shaped to fit the natural arch of one’s foot, providing comfort and support where you need it. Two millimeters of lug depth on the contoured outsole provides traction on loose or wet ground, but subsequently gives the Hydro Slide its signature design that sees pod-like shapes decorate the lower half of the silhouette.Merrell 1TRL has finished the slide in a white and yellow mottled effect and has stamped its moniker into the lateral side for a final finishing touch. As expected, these slides are incredibly affordable at just £45 GBP (approx. $62 USD). Take a closer look at the Merrel 1TRL Hydro Slide above, and pick up a pair now from stockists such as Hanon. In case you missed it, check out this week’s installment of Sole Mates.
Take an Official Look at the Nike Lahar Low in “Sport Spice”
Revived back in December of 2020, the Nike Lahar Low is now getting dressed in a mix of saturated shades dubbed as the “Sport Spice.” The new colorway will be joining the natural and earthy-toned “Fossil Stone” offering for the Fall/Winter 2021 release.Flipping the original design, the Lahar Low transformed from a high-top hiking boot to a sneaker made to trek the streets. The updated low-cut shoe applies that same heavy-duty construction with a modern rework embellished with heritage-inspired accents. Sport spice and dark beetroot hues encompass the suede uppers over heightened mudguards and chunky speckled rubber soles. A vivid court purple details the mini embroidered Swoosh on the laterals, ankle pull tabs and rope weave shoelaces. Regular eyestays are swapped out for heavy metal eyelet hook hardware bolted down to complete the heritage look.Slated to release in the coming weeks, the Nike Lahar Low “Sport Spice” will retail for $130 USD at select retailers and the brand’s website.Elsewhere in the Nike realm, the sportswear giant spotlights 20 universities with the new Air Zoom Pegasus 38 pack.
