After surfacing in early January, we now have another look at the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Military Blue.”Despite using the same “Royal Blue/White/Sail/Black” color scheme found on the Air Jordan 1 High OG collaboration that has been heavily discussed recently, the low-cut iteration features “Sail” color reversed midfoot Swooshes. Once again the shoe features a tumbled white leather base accented by black overlays and blue at the heel and collar. Additional branding comes in the form of branding debossing at the heel, Wings motifs at the rear, “NIKE AIR” tongue tags, Cactus Jack and fragment design tags, and insoles. Elevating the shoe is an off white midsole and contrasting rubber outsole.Although no clear release notes have surfaced the Travis Scott x fragment design x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Military Blue” is now expected to release sometime in the fall. Kobe Bryant Estate Reportedly Planning Personal Brand Launch
According to reports, Kobe Bryant’s estate could be working towards launching a personal brand following the official end of the basketball superstar’s Nike contract.Sources are now noting that wife Vanessa Bryant has led legal filings for more 13 trademarks since May 2020 on the behalf of Kobe’s estate. The trademark applications cover, “Play Gigi’s Way,” “Mamba,” “Mambacita,” “Baby Mambas” and Mamba League.” Filed with “intent to use,” the trademarks cover everything from clothing, gym wear, loungewear and footwear.It is also important to note that The Mamba Sports Academy has been renamed as the “Sports Academy.” “It was a mutual agreement, made in accordance with the wishes of his estate,” the academy said in a May 2020 statement.In case you missed it, Travis Scott recently wore COMME des GARÇONS PLAY x Converse Chuck 70s, igniting interest in the divisive sneaker.
