Nike Air Huarache Appears in Peachy “Turf Orange”

Nike’s Air Huarache made a splash when it returned to market earlier this year, arriving in a duo of Stüssy collaborations plus its OG “Scream Green” style. Now, with summer around the corner, Nike Sportswear has begun revealing other iterations of the Tinker Hatfield-designed classic — one of which is this peachy “Turf Orange” makeup.Several orange and reddish-orange shades appear on the upper, the most striking of which are peach tones on the toebox and midfoot overlays. Both of these pieces are notable in construction as well as color: they swap out standard neoprene and leather for a supple suede. Throats and heels are colored in salmon, while quarters, collar linings and a strip running up the tongue take on the aforementioned reddish-orange tone.Brown is thrown into the mix as well, appearing on the heel cage circular tongue badge and outsole, all of which are interspersed with a healthy pinch of gold flecks. Reddish-orange laces hold a bronzed Swoosh charm, and cork insoles add some premium flair. Down below, sail midsoles round off the look. At the time of writing, an official release date for the Nike Air Huarache “Turf Orange” has yet to be announced. However, it’ll likely arrive sometime this summer for $120 USD.For more from the greater world of Nike, Inc., check out Jordan Brand’s Summer 2021 retro collection.

adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 MNVN “Blue Tint” is Revealed

The YEEZY BOOST 700 MNVN model had a strong 2020 as it showed out with a plethora of fresh colorways including the “Phosphor”, “Bone” and “Triple Black”. For Spring 2021, the adidas model is aiming to pick its momentum back up with even more offerings, one being this powdery YEEZY BOOST 700 MNVN “Blue Tint” colorway. The uppers of this footwear proposal by Kanye West aren’t unlike anything that we’ve seen before. Accents still split between black and reflective hits, the former being planted onto the throat and bungee-style laces, as well as the forefoot and heel overlays while the latter is most pronounced on the side paneling’s 700 branding. Its “Blue Tint” tone is called upon to dominate the lateral and medial walls, and spruce up the shoe with Spring-appropriate sensibility.Down below, the midsole unit — which is ripped right from the original adidas YEEZY BOOST 700 V1 — is clad with a charcoal exterior, and the treading continues the darker theme by arriving in all-black.adidas still has to confirm its release date, but it’s expected that these will be officially dropping during Summer 2021. Retail price will be set at the usual $220 USD.For more news in the realm of footwear, first images of the YEEZY FOAM RNNR “Mineral Blue” have surfaced.

Stefon Diggs Signs Endorsement Deal with Jordan Brand

NFL All-Pro wide receiver Stefon Diggs of the Buffalo Bills has signed an endorsement deal with Jordan Brand. Diggs — lead the NFL in receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535) as well as scoring 8 touchdowns in the 2020 season — is the latest addition to a stacked football roster for the Jumpman, joining other All-Pro players like DeAndre Hopkins and Bobby Wagner. Besides his on-field exploits, Diggs is known for his deep interest in fashion and footwear. He noted the dream-come-true nature of being a part of the Jordan roster, saying “It’s a little bit unreal, coming from where I come from — where people [line] up for Jordans or camp out for them overnight … I even did it myself when I was younger. This is both unreal and surreal, to be a part of a successful brand that everybody knows and respects. Jordan Brand has an elite group of athletes. Everyone plays at a high level … I’ll never forget the moment I got the call.”Prior to signing with Jordan Brand, Diggs was an adidas athlete who worked on a bespoke collection of tracksuits with the Three Stripes in 2019. 2020 marked his first full season with the Bills — in his six prior NFL seasons, he was a standout for the Minnesota Vikings and a frequent presence at Minneapolis sneaker boutiques like Piff. Check out Diggs’ interview with Jordan Brand’s blog here, and for more from the world of the Jumpman take a look at the Summer 2021 Air Jordan retro collection.
