Campaign for Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth” Highlights DIY Customization Option

Following an official look, Nike SB has now unveiled campaign imagery for the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth.”Starring Ishod Wair and shot by Atiba Jefferson, the latest celebration of the upcoming release highlights Verdy’s relationship with punk and skate culture that informs of the shoe. The black denim and leather patchwork upper calls on the crust punk styling associated with the musical genre of the artist’s youth. The defiant attitude is continued on the silver-tone D-ring hardware and insoles printed with “NO THANK YOU I DON’T NEED YOUR SUPPORT” and “Don’t bother me anymore.” While the padded tongues and Zoom Air assisted midsoles address the needs of skateboarders consistently testing the limits of their shoes with every trick attempted and landed.Priced at $110 USD, the Verdy x Nike SB Dunk Low “Wasted Youth” is set to release from Wasted Youth April 1, select skate shops April 3 and Nike SNKRS April 6, 10 p.m. EST. View this post on Instagram A post shared by VEЯDY (@verdy) View this post on Instagram A post shared by VEЯDY (@verdy) View this post on Instagram A post shared by VEЯDY (@verdy)For more footwear news, take an on-foot look at the Nike SB Dunk Low “Vietnam.”

ASICS Serves Up the GEL-Venture 7 in Two Vibrant Colorways

The early 2021 output from the ASICS team has definitely been strong as it has been going back and forth between releasing in-line styles and compelling collaborations with partners like Coca-Cola, Vivienne Westwood and Ballaholic. Under the general release category, the latest to spring up is the GEL-Venture 7 — a runner that has just been uncovered with lively “Lime Green” and “Yellow” makeovers.Of the duo of offerings, the “Yellow/Ox Brown” variant is arguably the louder variation. A sunflower-like hue leads the way for this low-top silhouette and throws itself onto the webbed canvas overlays that cling onto the mid-foot, throat and leather forefoot overlays, the latter sporting a tonal vein-y patterns that run throughout. Placed underneath is a layer of light beige mesh, while dark brown accents touch the tiger stripes and heel counters which are also decorated with the busy design lines. Small pops of sky blue are also tossed onto the lace loops, lateral stripe overlays and the heel tabs. Its launch partner is one of much more dusty allure as it dons a pastel “Lime Green” exterior that’s mated with faint yellow accents which disperse to the toe tips, ASICS logos and heel overlays. Like its sibling, a duo or lace loops, the mid-foot banner and the rear tabs usher in some color-blocking, only with brown and yellow tones. Elsewhere, a muted gray is called to the table to coat the sock liners and midsoles.Retailers like Subtype are expected to drop these soon, both pairs retailing at $160 USD.For additional footwear news, ASICS recently revealed its METASPEED Sky model.

For branding, ROA”s signature logo is dropped off in white up by the toes, while Brain Dead’s insignia is housed inside a gel green badge that is clipped to the suede heel overlays. For its lower piece, a stealthy EVA midsole is mated with solid black rubber Vibram treading to bring together its full look.If you wanted to add these to your outdoor rotation, these Brain Dead x ROA Neals are available now via Brain Dead for $340 USD.In case you missed it, Brain Dead’s Reebok Zig Kinetica II collaboration has emerged.
