For Pippen, the Nike Air More Uptempo was a consistent go-to for the two-way forward, and it’s now being highlighted by the Swoosh once again through a new colorway entitled the “Renowned Rhythm” — a namesake procured and inspired by #33’s capabilities of playing with both aggression and grace.The color execution on these retro basketball kicks are emblematic of the Chicago Bulls — the very franchise that Pippen won six championships with. A pristine theme is shown through white perforated leathers and to form the side paneling as well as the nylon tongues. Oversized AIR lettering — a design element signature to this silhouette — also comes primarily presented in white, while its borders offset with “Varsity Red”. adidas has given its NMD_R1 a lively “Duck Camo” colorway. This bold rendition follows the silhouette’s futuristic, data-inspired iteration from back in January.The shoe’s uppers are constructed with an intricate Primeknit weave colored in an understated “Duck Camo” pattern. Subtle earth-tones and light olive shades are scattered throughout the body, while hints of “Hot Pink” offer a bold contrast to the modest palettes. Following last month’s release of its football jersey-inspired graphic iteration, Balenciaga continues to grow its footwear reach with the newest addition to the Speed Trainer line — aptly titled the Speed 3.0.The latest upgrade to Demna Gvasalia’s signature sock-like silhouette sees it hit with a clean, all-white glacier colorway just in time for the summer. This version’s main change sees the sneaker adopt a taller ankle for a tube-sock aesthetic. Continuing to keep to the textile knitted upper that we’re used to, the Speed 3.0 now possesses a deconstructed paneled design providing a frayed look towards the toe.Added texture on the ankle and midfoot treats the sneaker more like a sock than ever before.
