032c and adidas Originals are back together yet again, and this time the duo’s collaboration may be its strongest to date. Presenting two silhouettes — the GSG Mule and GSG TR shoe — 032c applies its underground Berlin sensibilities with its love for all things utilitarian, sporty, and technical, all while taking from previous collaborations such as its take on the adidas Originals GSG-9.2 Tactical Boot.In fact, the GSG-9 forms the base for both the mule and the TR sneaker seen above. For the mule, 032c subverts the idea of what technical means, stripping away the majority of the boot’s design to leave just the base section. In its “Savanna” colorway, an upper made from neoprene — featuring Three Stripe detailing and a rubberized toe cap — meets a chunky sole unit fitted with a Traxion outsole. Finished in an icy “Chalk” hue, this adiPRENE-equipped sole wears adidas branding on the heel, 032c branding on the sidewall, and is finished with lugs all around for added traction. In the “Core Black” colorway, the sole unit details are ever so slightly more visible, as is the signature red 032c-branded insole. For the GSG TR, 032c takes the same Traxion and adiPRENE-equipped sole unit but pairs it to a highly technical upper. Served in either “Stone Green/Dove Grey/Red” or “Hi-Res Yellow/Pulse Lime/Core Black,” the sneaker-boot hybrid is also made from neoprene but combines its upper with more hardwearing rubberized details and the inclusion of 3M paneling.Utilitarian rope lacing and a heavy dose of branding hitting everything from the contrast tongue tab to the heel and sole unit rounds out this pair. Take a look at the 032c x adidas Originals GSG Mule and GSG TR above, and pick up both pairs in both their respective colorways on April 22 via the adidas CONFIRMED app. The mule retails for £140 GBP while the GSG TR will cost £180 GBP (approx. $195 USD/$250 USD).In other news, the adidas YEEZY FOAM RNNR has surfaced in “Vermilion” red.Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
