A product of New Balance’s Flimby, UK factory, the Made in England New Balance 920 is a sporty hybrid sneaker that combines a modern upper with the midsole of the beloved New Balance 990v3. Now, the 920 is set to joint the ranks of the “Desert Scape Pack” — where it’ll accompany an elegant take on the New Balance 1500.Much like its upper/midsole mix, the 920 “Desert Scape Pack” colorblocking combines fresh and familiar. The mesh base and wide assemblage of cut-out suede overlays use various sandy brown tones, but the midfoot supplies some classic New Balance style with a gray and navy N logo plus a blue suede piece towards the midsole. More navy embellishments appear on the tongue and heel branding, with touches of hi-vis reflective silver appearing across the top half as well. Down below, the shoe’s 990v3 midsole is split between white and two shades of gray. It’s also loaded with ENCAP cushioning for a comfortable fit. A carbon fiber plate under the arch — visible through the rubber outsoles — completes the look. The New Balance Made in England 920 “Desert Scape Pack” is set to release at retailers like mita come June 19. Its MSRP is set at a tax-included ¥30,800 JPY (approximately $280 USD).For more New Balance news, take a look at STAUD’s collaborative 327s and 57/40s. Click here to view full gallery at HYPEBEAST
