Twenty years is a good round number to hang ’em up. Ellen Price, Northeast sales rep for Bos. & Co. (makers of Bos. & Co and distributors of Fly London, Ambitious, Asportuguesas, and Softinos) is calling it a career. Stepping in is Alex Naravez (pictured), most recently a rep of 12 years for Naot.
“Ellen brought to the table great people skills and an eye for good product, along with multiple years of experience in both retail and wholesale,” says CEO Kevin Bosco, adding that she launched Fly London, Bos. & Co., Asportuguesas, and Softinos into the region in independent and volume accounts. “She used those people skills and product knowledge to build solid relationships with retailers and became a trusted partner and source for businesses that still thrive today.”
Bosco says Price will be missed—not only at Bos. & Co. but also by her many clients. She has been a fixture at shows and in their stores for years. “She brought with her a unique insight to each client and understanding of what can perform in their stores,” he says.
Bosco believes Naravez will pick up right where Price left off. He describes the veteran rep as a “results-driven” territory manager with 20-plus years of experience in footwear and retail sales. That includes established relationships with accounts that aren’t Bos. & Co. customers—yet. “Alex will bring a new perspective and fresh outlook to our team and the brands in the territory,” Bosco says. “Change is a positive thing!”
