Twisted X Global Brands is rolling out a new collection of slide-on footwear with a reinforced heel designed to hold its shape. Introduced this month, EZ On is available in two styles for men, with more men’s looks and women styles expected later this year.
The collection is meant to give wearers easy-on/easy-off convenience without compromising structure or fit, thanks to elastic gore panels in the tongue that provide a secure fit without laces. There’s no bending required, no need to adjust the shoes, and no risk of a bent heel counter—and that sets the product apart from many competitors in the slide-and-go category, according to CEO Prasad Reddy.
“Our EZ On collection features a patented reinforced heel frame that keeps its shape, unlike other products that might bend and bounce back or require use of your hands to get on,” says Reddy.
“EZ On really exemplifies what Twisted X fans look to us for,” he continues. “It’s designed to keep pace with everyday life. It’s versatile, innovative, and comfortable without compromising on the look of the shoe.”
While convenience is appreciated any time of year, “this product is especially appealing as we head into busy summer months, when people are constantly on the go,” Reddy says of the newcomers, now available through select retailers. “It’s already selling very well, and our retail partners have shared great feedback.”
Twisted X’s EZ On styles feature premium luxeTWX leather uppers and moc toes for a stylish casual aesthetic. UltraLite X technology incorporates a unique EVA compound that makes the shoes 20 percent lighter than normal EVA would, while Blend85 footbeds are made with 85 percent recycled foam.
