Great brands think alike. Honoring the deep tradition of craftsmanship that both brands share, John Fluevog was the featured footwear in the Comme des Garçons’ Fall/Winter ’26 collection presented in Paris last weekend. It marks the third time the two labels have partnered for a seasonal preview.
“The chunky wooden platform boot explores the beauty of raw materials while playfully reshaping the language of footwear,” says Arabella Barros, creative director for John Fluevog Shoes. “Its bumpy rounded toe and exaggerated curved wooden platform push the familiar silhouette into a more sculptural and expressive form and space. Seeing the design walk the Comme des Garçons Fall/Winter ’26 runway during Paris Fashion Week is a beautiful moment where craft, imagination, and two independent creative spirits come together.
“I was honored to bring this collaboration between John Fluevog and Comme des Garçons to reality,” Barros adds.
