Dallas Market Center Gearing Up for Fashion Week

Next month’s Dallas Fashion Week will feature more than 200 top footwear brands exhibiting across four shows. The Apparel & Accessories Market and KidsWorld will run Jan. 20–23; WESA (representing western) and the AETA (representing English) are slated for Jan. 21–24; and the Dallas Men’s Show is Jan. 24–26.
“This is our biggest show of the year for apparel, accessories, and footwear, and the biggest opportunity of the year to explore new styles, brands, and price points,” says Jill Cunningham, SVP Leasing Apparel & Accessories for the Dallas Market Center. “Recent additions include Wrangler Footwear, Alberta Boot Company, OluKai, Grand Central, and an expanded Skechers showroom. We have permanent footwear showrooms and temporaries located on three different floors of our marketplace, and that includes the largest marketplace for western boots and accessories.”
In addition to the big selection, Cunningham recommends buyers shop Dallas Market Week for the efficiency and early timing. “Buyers who attend both the Apparel & Accessories Market and WESA gain the opportunity to discover more in a single location of western fashions, which is one of the most sought-after trends right now,” she says. Cunningham adds that Dallas Fashion Week showcases more fashion accessories than any other marketplace. “That’s our secret sauce. Buyers can diversify their merchandise mix by incorporating bags, belts, and gift products that help increase add-on sales. They can even shop store fixtures. Together, our markets create a buying experience where retailers can complete orders across multiple categories efficiently, all in one place.”
Because Dallas Fashion Week happens before most other shows, it enables buyers to get a head start on 2026, says Cunningham. “As the first major show in the U.S., we offer the advantage to see the trends first and order early,” she says, adding that Dallas is also a convenient destination for most of the country and with lower travel costs than most other market cities. “We like to say that your dollars and time invested in Dallas simply go further to support your business.”
Pre-register at dallasmarketcenter.com to receive a mobile FastPass for quicker entry. Buyers seeking immediately available product should head to the 10th floor, where Cash & Carry options will be on display. Permanent showrooms are on floors 13–15. Newcomers include Cotton & Rye Outfitters (14161), Rodeo Hippie (14153), and Thread & Supply (13696). Western apparel and accessories can be found on floors throughout the marketplace. Buyers can peruse young contemporary apparel and accessories on the 12th floor.
Key trends will include structured silhouettes in bright colors with bold accessories and Americana-inspired colors, prints, and styles in step with the United States’ 250th anniversary, according to Dallas Market Center’s Spark magazine. In addition, expect bejeweled accessories; fringe, feathers and unexpected textures; and bold accessories with lots of texture, sparkle, and color.
Buyers are welcome to attend industry, social, and hospitality events taking place during Fashion Week. A full list of events is available on the Dallas Market Center website and app. Dozens of partner hotels, many within walking distance of the campus, are offering rates as low as $136/night. Contact Market Travel online or call (214) 744-7444.
Heads up: June 2026 Fashion Week overlaps the FIFA World Cup matches taking place at AT&T Stadium in nearby Arlington. Show attendees are encouraged to book early for a guaranteed room at rates comparable to past market weeks.
