Sneakerheads have waited over three years for Fear of God and adidas to release their first collaborative sneaker. Now, it’s finally looking like the duo is ready to drop this year with a myriad of leaked pairs accompanied by Fear of God’s debut runway show that included highlights from the two. Just days ago, another pair — one seemingly inspired by the Retropy E5 — popped up and today sees yet another silhouette appear.Reworking the adidas Rivalry Low 86, Fear of God has modernized the silhouette with a platform sole unit, clean linework and a premium suede finish. Its monochromatic upper arrives in gray with elements such as the Three Stripes returning to the midfoot. Looking closer at the elevated sole, its smooth off-white finish hosts plain adidas branding at the lateral heel and the “FEAR OF GOD” stamp at the heel, resting inches below the gray Trefoil logo at the upper. We’re still awaiting word of Fear of God’s debut adidas collection, including this take on the Rivalry Low 86. Stay tuned for updates as the initial installment from the duo should touch down on shelves by the end of the year for Fall/Winter 2023.
