First Look at the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 “Rio”

While J Balvin being spotted playing a game of outdoor basketball in New York City with Jimmy Butler might already be enough to be a head turner, it was his footwear that caught the attention of onlookers. Unveiling his fourth Jordan Brand collaboration, the Air Jordan 3 appears in a never-before-seen colorway named “Rio.” The Colombian singer’s first partnership with the brand was in December 2020, introducing the Air Jordan 1 “Colores Y Vibras” followed by the Air Jordan 2 in 2022 and in 2023, the Air Jordan 3 “MedellĂ­n Sunset.”Now, set to arrive next year, the “Rio” colorway is named after his son, who was born in June 2021. The upcoming shoe is a sleek, black iteration of the popular mode, arriving in a black, solar flare and total crimson abyss color scheme. The base of the shoe is covered in an all-black leather base featuring grey elephant print overlays on the toe and heels. Additional details include the mult-color gradient midsole, translucent heel tabs featuring J Balvin’s logo and other unique elements to connect the silhouette to his son Rio.Look out for the J Balvin x Air Jordan 3 “Rio” arriving in Summer 2024 at select retailers and online at Nike for $250 USD. Converse Reveals Rick Owens DRKSHDW DBL DRKSTAR Chuck 70

Converse has revealed yet another collaboration with Rick Owens’ sub-label DRKSHDW, marking its third collaborative offering in 2023. This time, the designer revisited the Chuck 70 to create the DRKSHDW DBL DRKSTAR Chuck 70 in both high and low silhouettes.In this latest collab, Owens elevates the DRKSTAR Chuck 70 with a double-stacked sole, elongated tongues, and a distinct speckled texture on the rubberized platforms, toe caps and foxing tape. Opting for a rounded toe as opposed to the square design that was seen in the previous capsule.The high example features a black canvas upper with white contrasting stitching while the low features a “Natural Ivory” canvas upper with stitching to match. Both pairs boast chromatic Converse All Star logos at their inward-facing exteriors. Other shared details include “DBL DRKSTAR” branding on the tongues and on one of the rubberized heel logos with the other reflecting traditional Converse branding.Both pairs are expected to drop on September 8, with retail for the DRKSHDW DBL DRKSTAR Chuck 70 high set at $170 USD and the low set at $165 USD. Nike Zoom Vomero 5 Lands in “Black/Picante Red”

Nike has expanded its Fall/Winter 2023 lineup for the popular Nike Zoom Vomero 5. The fresh new colorway sees the silhouette arrive in a “Black/Picante Red” makeup that incorporates iron grey and summit white hue. The shoe is constructed out of a mix of TPU, leather and mesh materials. With a mostly all-black base, featuring light grey 3M reflective overlays, red accents highlight the tongue tags, giving it an added pop of color.
