The Jordan Luka 5 Is Here

SummaryNine months after presenting the Jordan Luka 4 and Jordan Luka .77, Luka Dončić and the Jumpman team have announced the Jordan Luka 5A full-length Zoom Strobel and new ISOband join a Cushlon 3.0 midsole and Dončić’s signature ISOplateThe Jordan Luka 5 will launch in its lead “Venom” look on January 8 at a price of $135 USDLuka Dončić announced a new chapter of his signature shoe line back in March, presenting both the Jordan Luka 4 and Jordan Luka .77 after being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers in one of the most shocking moves in sports history. Now, the superstar is back with another surprise, announcing the Jordan Luka 5 just over nine months later. This evolution of Dončić’s line is all about slow-step finishes and sharp pivots, the keys to his control. A full-length Zoom Strobel for propulsion and a new ISOband tailored to precise control have been added. These elements join a Cushlon 3.0 midsole and an ISOplate, a staple of Dončić’s line. “Working with Jordan Brand on the Luka 5 was about making something that fits my game and keeps evolving with me,” shares Dončić. “The full-length Zoom Strobel and ISOband give me that extra pop and control so I can attack from any spot on the floor. Every time I lace them up, I know I’m ready to go.” Pictured here is the “Venom” look, which pairs “Illusion Green” with “Black” for an eye-catching composition. For those eager to try out Luka Dončić’s new Jordan Luka 5, it is currently scheduled to debut on January 8 via Nike and select retailers in its lead “Venom” colorway at a starting price of $135 USD. Take an early look at the shoe above and enjoy the brand’s marketing short film featuring Adrian “Woj” Wojnarowski and Boban Marjanović below. Also, keep an eye out for Dončić to wear on the new model during the Lakers’ Christmas Day game, assuming he ends up playing (leg injury). View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jordan (@jumpman23)
