Closer Look at the MM6 Maison Margiela x Havaianas SS27 Collaboration

Summary

MM6 Maison Margiela previews its first Havaianas collaboration for SS27.The Slim 6Toe adds an exaggerated sixth toe in Black and White.A six-layer multicolored platform version appeared exclusively on the runway.

MM6 Maison Margiela previewed its first collaboration with Havaianas at its Spring/Summer 2027 runway presentation in Milan, applying its signature fixation with the number six to the Brazilian brand’s instantly recognizable rubber flip-flop.The collaboration takes shape through two uniquely modified designs: the Slim 6Toe and the Top 6Layers. The Top 6Layers, pushes the idea into more sculptural territory by stacking six differently shaped Havaianas soles into an intentionally irregular platform. Runway imagery shows a white strap and uppermost footbed sitting over a vivid sequence of multicolored rubber layers, with flashes of red, green, blue and violet creating a striped, almost compressed-rainbow effect beneath the foot. Despite its exaggerated height, each layer preserves the molded texture and recognizable outline of a conventional Havaianas sole, turning repetition itself into the design feature.Meanwhile, the Slim 6Toe alters the classic rubber model to echo the anatomical outline of a bare foot, deliberately punching an extra toe slot into the silhouette to accommodate a literal sixth toe. The Top 6Layers was created exclusively for the runway and will not be offered commercially, while the broader MM6 Maison Margiela x Havaianas collaboration is scheduled to launch in May 2027.

Willy Chavarria and adidas Originals Rework the Megaride for Fall 2026

Name: Willy Chavarria x adidas Originals Mega Willy Low, Willy Chavarria x adidas Originals Willy Mega MidColorway: Black and Agave, BlackSKU: TBCMSRP: $230 USD, $280 USDRelease Date: October 3Where to Buy: adidas, CONFIRMED appadidas Originals and Willy Chavarria have built their Fall 2026 collection around the Megaride franchise, pairing the Mega Willy Low in Black and Agave with a Black Willy Mega Mid. The October capsule draws on ’90s sportswear and scales up archival adidas shapes, continuing the designer’s ongoing work with scale, identity and his own heritage. The footwear comes in two heights. The low-top Mega Willy Low arrives in two colorways, a Black pair and an Agave option, while the Willy Mega Mid raises the collar to a mid-cut and comes in Black only. Together the three pairs give the partnership’s Megaride lineup both a sleek everyday profile and a higher-cut option. The apparel follows the same logic of scale. Silhouettes run relaxed and deliberately oversized, drawing on vintage athletic cuts and built for stacking in layers. The Chavarria Track Jacket and Track Pant form the anchor set, joined by the Chavarria Dazzle Short and Dazzle LS Jersey. Red three stripes provide the key accent across the offering, a color shift on adidas’ most recognizable detail.Chavarria’s personal codes carry the graphic side of the range. The Dark Rose Tee features the rose motif that recurs throughout his work. The Chavarria Chicano Sweatshirt uses red, white and green accents taken from the Mexican flag, a direct tribute to the designer’s Mexican-American roots.Across both footwear and apparel, familiar adidas heritage shapes are reworked through Chavarria’s sense of proportion. The sporting references stay recognizable, but they now sit inside a fashion-led silhouette that belongs as much to the street as to the track.

SummaryThe FW26 JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 features a monolithic tan suede upper with contrasting black accents, dropping the previous mesh base. The USA-made shoe includes discreet branding, though an official release date and retail price have not yet been announced. For FW26, JJJJound and New Balance are delivering yet another variant of the New Balance 990v3, a silhouette the collaborators have reimagined time and time again since the very start of their partnership. The 990v3 is not only the first JJJJ x NB silhouette, debuting in 2018, but also the subject of four more releases since then. Now the JJJJound x New Balance 990v3 returns in a familiar palette, echoing the hues of their debut shoe with a streamlined executionComposed of full tan suede uppers, the design gets contrast from a black N logo on the lateral and an all-black sole. Across the tongue, “New Balance USA” calls out its USA-made provenance, having originated at the shoemaker’s New England production facilities. JJJJound’s signature branding appears only on the black insoles, aligning with the Montreal label’s discreet approach to brand identity. Notably, the shoe borrows some details from the 2018 JJJJ x NB 990v3, including the tan suede upper details and the black N logo. However, for 2026, JJJJound forgoes the tonal detailing and mesh backdrop for a monolithic look, interrupted only by the few striking black details. As of the time of writing, JJJJound has not announced the official release date or retail price for its latest rendition of the New Balance 990v3.
