After announcing the release of Charles Barkley’s Air Max CB ’94 in its OG colorway, Nike pays homage to the original 1992 Olympic Dream Team with a “USA” iteration as part of its 2021 retro rollout.Six years since its first retro release, the Air Max CB ’94 basketball silhouette has now been adorned in patriotic colors as an ode to the iconic starting lineup. Premium nubuck in “Obsidian” hues cover the upper contrasted by the white on the tongue, laces and heel tab. Spots of red on the midsole match the interior of its sockliner along with the “NIKE” branding on the midfoot strap and Air Max logo on the heel. The signature Air Unit wraps around the back of the heel with a mini Swoosh placed just above it on the midsole. As seen on the Dream Team, the polka dot-like holes surround the laterals for added breathability with an extra padded elastic sockliner for ankle support on the court. The Nike Air Max CB ’94 “USA” is slated for release in the coming weeks and retail for $160 USD, so keep an eye out on Nike’s website for more details. In case you missed it, take a look at the official images of the Nike SB Dunk “VX1000 Camcorder.”

New Balance Imagines 2002R in “Triple Black,” “Triple White” and Olive Makeups
After emerging in a black and green suede iteration, New Balance’s ever-popular reissue of the 2002R is returning in a trio of covetable colorways. The chunky dad sneaker is now launching in three tonal makeups: “Triple Black,” “Triple White,” and an all-over olive shade, ideal for conceptualizing some splashy spring ‘fits. Each new version of the 2002R silhouette sports a upper finished in the same tone as its laces, sockliner, tongue and sole, holding true to the monotone monikers of each colorway. Grain leather is utilized for the white and black models, but the olive pair, which is the only one to feature a slightly-constrasting sole, boasts textural suede. As usual, each shoe sports exposed ABZORB cushioning at the rear, grippy rubber outsoles and the “2002R” branding near the heel.Though “Triple Black” iterations of New Balance’s sneakers are generally somewhat uncommon, the Boston-based brand did recently introduce an all-black mid-top shoe as part of its latest Snow Peak collaboration. Still, the all-black approach is an unusual one for New Balance, which often interrupts its darker-toned kicks with pops of color and contrasting branding. All three new 2002R colorways hit New Balance’s website on February 20 for approximately $140 USD.昨年初復刻した #ニューバランス 「#2002R」に新作登場トーナルカラーの3色を2/20(土)より発売2010年にMade in U.S.A.のフラッグシップモデルとして登場した「2002」にハイスペックソールを融合しアジア製で復刻を遂げた「2002R」に新色が登場。☛https://t.co/xkDUnYHFls#NB pic.twitter.com/T4nQSzHmEZ— ニューバランス ジャパン (@newbalance_jp) February 15, 2021New Balance has even more new iterations of its throwback silhouettes in store, recently trotting out “Carbon/Team Red/White” 990v5.
